Also, I cannot believe I have an almost teenager. L's mom sent me these pics of her at the One Direction concert last night. She looks just like me (left on the pic with 4 girls, right on pic with 2 girls). She's so grown up!
rikki have you enjoyed her more recently? Was the behavior you questioned just a phase? She (and you) are beautiful.
Thanks so much. She is still spoiled and pretty bratty, but somewhat better. She's EXCELLENT with Elijah. I love seeing them together. She's happiest when in control, so being the doting big sister, changing diapers, taking him for walks, things like that are right up her alley. Still hopeful it's just a typical tween stage!
Did your parents have you sit on a phone book when you were too short at the table? I was joking that we need to put a phone book on Leo's high chair, then my DH said his parents used to do that too.
Yes! I mean, what else would you sit on? A big, fat book? Lol.
I actually thought about a cookbook first, but I didn't want to ruin one!
DH just gave me an attitude about taking DS's stroller on vacation. Who wants to carry a kid off and on all day in the heat? What about hopeful stroller naps, snack time in the stroller, the fact that he won't want to walk all the time, can't keep up, and is heavy?!

I'm up at my parents lake cabin. DH AND DS1 are going to "camp" in the backyard in a tent tonight. DS2 has a PNP set up in my parents room. That means I get to starfish and sleep alone all night!!! And not deal with any child the second they wake up tomorrow!
Hunger Games Catching Fire wasn't very good. But hey for $1.61 at redbox now I can say we saw it. Except our blu ray player sux, def need a new one.
We're up watching the ECU game, why no clue. It's non-conference and they're winning by a lot.
DH called MIL about coming by tomorrow and she was such a bitch to him on the phone. Ugh we catered to everyone's schedules, custody arrangements etc for 4.5 years, sorry my kid naps at 12 lady. Making me regret deciding to make them food.
We kept J up way too late to go to a White Sox game with my dad. He was a delight though and loved the fireworks. He now has a baseball cap that is adorable on him. He's passed out in his car seat now. I'm glad he'll sleep anywhere.

Good luck, @mrsspunky!
I managed to drag my butt out grocery shopping. We were out of some very important essentials, like ice cream. That wouldn't do. DH is washing the gravel off our very grubby DS. He made himself a "hat" out of dirt and rocks today. Really he just rubbed a whole bunch of stuff in his hair, lol. Cute but messy.
Verdict: I didn't like Wolf of Wall Street at all. Love Leo, but the movie was way too intense for me and I wish they had focused more on the end and less on the sex and drugs.
DD woke up around 12:30 maybe? I fed her in our bed but she just wouldn't settle back to sleep. Then she pooed. So I took her to her room to change her. While I am changing her she poos again. Everywhere. And it is dark in the room. And I don't want to turn on the light any brighter than it is.
She is now in her crib. Awake. But not crying. This is almost an hour later. I am so over all of this. I just want to sleep more than 2 hours straight. Ever.
@this,@zarapioe, TamiTaylor, I have one you guys will appreciate. Coworker is getting married this fall, reception is in her uncle's backyard where they will have a bonfire. She has been sharing the gofundme website her friend set up for raising money for it on Facebook. I am an asshole because I keep checking how much they have raised. Only $50 each time she's shared it, now I'm almost more embarrassed that she keeps sharing it and no one is donating, instead of the fact that she agreed to a go fund me for her wedding.
DS just cried on and off for 45 minutes, so I caved and fed him 30 minutes early. DH was getting mad and claimed to have a migraine. I'm sorry, the timing is a little too convenient. Plus his attitude was making me mad. We need to have a chat in the morning. I've been doing the night wakings solo for the past six months, you've been helping for the past five days, stfu, you could have taken a nap too yesterday.
DS scared the bejesus out of me at his second wake up. He was eating too fast and started choking. Luckily he corrected the situation himself by expelling it all over my breast. H was all blasé about it because he wanted to go back to sleep and I ended up losing my cool at him. Fighting at 2:30 am sucks. He's supposed to help more at night on the weekends and he's probably doing less than a normal weeknight tonight. I'm not a hot tempered person but I was ready to light his shit on fire.
On the positive side, my team is still undefeated. They played all of 10 seconds of football before the game was suspended due to weather. It was a great 10 seconds though.

DD woke up at 3:00 crying and didn't stop until I gave in and made her a bottle 5 minutes ago. She was sleeping until 7 all last week (9 hours total) but apparently that is over. She is ridiculously congested but I don't know if that is it? I had to walk around the house with her, she wouldn't let me put her down or even sit down without screaming. She does have two teeth popping in. Babies are hard.
So…does boob pain automatically mean blocked duct? mastitis? Can you have mastitis without having a blocked duct? My boob doesn't feel blocked but it hurts. I only noticed it last night (MOTN I think but now it still hurts.
