Hiya! Had a lovely dinner this evening--pork loin in the crockpot, tricolor potatoes, applesauce, green beans and carrots. I had blueberries and a few chocolate chips after but now YOU PEOPLE have me thinking about ice cream...
I'm worried we'll have another rough night and since I've got a cold, I'm not really up for it. Last night, I went to bed at 9:30 and got up at 9:30 (alas not without wake ups in between). Molars and j having a cold too are crappy crappy crappy.
Vent/confession: My husband is in a really shitty situation at work. I think he's totally in the right and has a valid argument with the company. But oh my god, if I have to hear the same shit rehashed one more time I might stab him in his sleep. Because I try to give him advice, which he says he wants, but he just keeps telling me everything I already know. Sigh. And to make things even more difficult, it would be really tough for him to find a similarly compensated job should he choose to leave, so he's stuck being unhappy because he says he refuses to put our family in that situation.
had such a good day for doing nothing particular. R went to sleep at 6:45. woot! now h and i are sitting on the couch cruising the internets. i want to start making clothes for R, but don't know where to start.
I'm here. I just got done icing my mom's birthday cake, baby is sleeping (first night of sleep training is going well so far!), and I am sitting on the couch with a glass of red wine. Life feels pretty okay right now!
That's how long DS slept in his crib before waking up. Yesssss. He also did a 2 hour nap in it earlier in the day. I think we might be on our way towards a daily routine.
I was hoping they would leave the carton but they took it with them. Bummer
WHO DOES THAT? Lol.
We see my parents 1-2 a week, so we don't usually leave food behind when we go to each other's houses. Otherwise we'd constantly be washing each other's leftover containers. But damn, taking ice cream from a pregnant woman?!?
