I don't miss pasta, which I'm pretty surprised about. I don't miss rice much either. I never cared one way or the other about alcohol. I don't miss yogurt either.
I miss ice cream the most, which was an occasional treat to begin with. I also miss corn and considering it is corn season around here, that's been tough. And cheese. I knew I was going to miss that!

Day 20
Surprisingly the only thing I miss consuming regularly is milk! I was craving a cupcake on Saturday, but that has passed. Don't get me wrong, some rice and beans would be good with all this carnitas and ropa vieja, but I'm fine with out them too.
We'll see! I haven't thought about re-introduction yet. I might try to ride this out a little longer. We go on a cruise Day 42, so maybe hold out until then. Maybe add back milk on day 31.
Diet Coke. Omg, I don't think I will ever stop missing it. I plan to have it 1-2 times per week with my cheat meals. I also miss being able to get takeout easily. It's not even a specific food, I would be happy with pizza, sandwiches, Chinese food... Just something delicious, easy, and bad for you.

Day 1.
I miss everything so far, mostly pizza and wine. I am such a wimp. Went grocery shopping and stocked up my produce. I swear I have never seen our cart look as healthy. Am drinking Sodastream bubbly water with lime and a bit of pomegranate juice so that's good.
I am really scared. I love how you all are having such good experiences and hardly missing foods.
Not missing anything yet but I know it's coming. First day was really easy and I'm halfway through Day 2 here. We're having a friend over for dinner tonight and while dinner will be Whole 30, I'm going to get my son to help make a cake for the friend's birthday. I plan on making a teeny tiny cake, like just four servings.
I miss pasta and chocolate, which is not a surprise at all. LOL.
I don't miss bread, which I thought I'd miss a little bit, especially croissants or cupcakes.
I don't miss dairy (read - ice cream) which I thought I'd miss the most (after chocolate).
In the home stretch now and my biggest issue is probably boredom. I've made different things, which is one of many reasons I'm so glad I decided to do the whole30, but everything I make seems monotonous now for some reason. Maybe it's the lack of eating out, which I've done exactly three times since I started this. It's something I'll have to keep an eye on since boredom definitely leads me to make not-so-great choices when it comes to food.
