Ok, so no strangers at dinner but also, I have gotten seasick on a boat tied up to a dock so a cruise ship seems problematic. . You can't talk me into one of those cruises....I won't, I won't , I won't. And I'm really not a germaphobe, but all those people in a big floating hotel skeeves me out. But that's just me and my weirdness. Plus, I love the show "Nashville" and am really interested in going there. That is all.
I'm the same way. I hate crowds, I am very sensitive to motion sickness, and I've read way too many horror stories about cruise ship disasters (e.g. everyone on the boat gets sick with norovirus... Ship loses power and floats for days while toilets aren't working... etc. Granted these are rare situations but I'd rather not take that chance.)
I lived in Nashville 4 years. I also hate mad travel. I still vote cruiser. You don't have to do excursions. We just rent our own car and do our own Damn thing. Also, I've met great friends through cruise critic (and toured for cheap with them).
This isn't even close. I hate cruises and I would still take a cruise over Nashville. Nashville is the type of place that, if I had to go there for work, I would spend the month before complaining. No way would I vacay there.
