I am having the worst craving for Ramen Noodles. I am not pregnant, drunk, or high. They just sound amazing. What is your favorite flavor and how do you make them?
Creamy chicken, break noodles in package, microwave in mug with water, drain most water, add about 1/2 pack of seasoning. Best with a super cold can of diet coke. (Can is important, no glass or bottles for this fancy meal!)
Spicy Chicken! I like to add veggies at the very end of boiling the noodles so they're still a bit crispy. I like corn, snow or sugar snap peas, mushrooms, and carrots.
We had a neighborhood pot luck cookout today and I took home some ramen noodle salad that one of the neighbors made. That's my favorite. I love cold ramen noodle salad. I just ate it with yogurt. OMG so good.

But slurping the long noodles is one of life's greatest simple pleasures!
I can imagine, but have never had the noodles long! I think I started crushing them because 1) the whole block didn't fit in my soup mug in college and 2) it cut down the cooking time to 2 minutes. Apparently I'm so lazy, I can't even make ramen appropriately!

Chicken.
Nothing extra but I use much less water and seasoning than recommended. I like the noodles the best, the liquid is just to give the noodles flavor for me.

Spicy something? It's a green package. Cook in water that already has seasoning packet in it, drain until only a 1/3 c or so left, add a big spoonful of peanut butter, some siracha, lime juice, frozen peas, drained chicken, and sesame oil. It's my shameful treat. If I feel fancy, I'll toss some sliced scallions on top. I believe I will have this for lunch tomorrow...
This sounds so good! I love peanut noodles, but I never thought to add peanut butter to ramen...OMG what have I been missing?!
For those of you who add eggs, how do you add the eggs to the ramen? Do you boil them with the noodles and then peel/add them to the bowl? Or do you crack them straight into the boiling noodles to make a poached type egg?
I want to add eggs to my ramen...I need to know how!
Maruchan! And yes, I find it at the normal grocery lol
This flavor is the best! I like it with most of the water drained off and then the seasoning packet added. Serve with saltines.
It's my H's favorite (and hasn't been stocked lately for some reason )... I said earlier that I like spicy chicken, but I got mixed up. I like the roast chicken flavor, and I add crushed red pepper flakes to it to make it spicy

I like either the chicken of whatever brand, or the "oriental" in dark blue package from Top Ramen brand. I'm not usually creative enough to do anything too fancy. usually that is all there is too it. But I have used chopped up hard boiled egg before and it was a good addition. It's a camping recipe I had. I also was wondering what people meant when they say they add egg. Scrambled? Poached in broth? Pre hard boiled like I did?

Ramen would be so good right now. I used to eat the chicken or original noodle packs with hard boiled or poached eggs, scallions and sesame oil. I've never done this but I bet it would be good with nori seasoning too.
ETA: I just realized it's "oriental" flavor not original.
My method is to boil the noodles in two cups of water for three minutes and then drain off most of the water. I use the full packet of seasoning still. Because salt is delicious.
