The likes are for everything but that. If you need to rest, rest. Its better to give yourself time to get better and not hit this week mileage, so you can rock next weeks mileage! Feel better!
Thanks
It's acute bronchitis. I'm now on all the drugs but the doc said I could run again when my fever broke and I feel up to it. 12 hours into this and I'm already waaaay over this shit
oooo yuck! I'm sorry but I'm glad your on meds. Sleep and drinks lots of fluids! Better for this to happen now than the week of Ragnar!

Bonus: What is the last thing you bought H&F related? Non H&F related? The only thing I bought this weekend was groceries. I bought a sweater at LOFT last weekend.
What are you training for? Date? Tufts 10k 10/13 and the Devil's Chase 6.66 10/26 as long as I can find a way to avoid the Thriller zombie flash mob so I don't drop dead of fright mid-run!

Highlights or AW's from the past week? Nothing too special, I tweaked my training plan and am liking the HH one already much more than my previous one!
Bonus: What is the last thing you bought H&F related? Non H&F related? I bought new Mizuno Sayonaras this weekend, which worked out well since my old shoes were practically falling apart. The last thing I bought was gel polish
Okay, I'm rejoining this thread. I have a race on the schedule.
What are you training for? Date? 10 for Texas 10 miler on October 11
Training schedule for the week? I plan to do a 3, a 5, a 7, and a 10 and go to the gym at least once. I never am quite sure when I'll be able to do what workout, depends on work.
Any issues or vents? I'm tired, but that's per usual these days. I'm working a lot closer to home (5 min vs. 30 min) this month which is nice.
Highlights or AW's from the past week? 3 out of 4 of my runs at a sub-8:00 pace.
Bonus: What is the last thing you bought H&F related? Non H&F related? H&F: I'm not sure. I'm due for new shoes in about 70 miles, plus I need some more new bras and I'd like to pick up a couple more tanks soon. Non-H&F: Actually I don't remember the answer to this either. I think lipstick. I'm kind of a zombie right now.
What are you training for? Date? - The Aquabike I planned to do filled, so that's out. I planned to do a 5k on 9/20, but I rolled my ankle last night, so that's TBD. Augusta 70.3 as the swim leg is still a go on 9/27!!!
Training schedule for the week? - My tenure packet is due this week. Training is going to be whatever I can squeeze in whenever I can squeeze it in.
Any issues or vents? - See previous two points
Highlights or AW's from the past week? - I've been really good about tracking in MFP
Bonus: What is the last thing you bought H&F related? Non H&F related? - H&F: The racing suit I wore in the FINA world championships - Non H&F: A clothes order from ThredUP
Tell me of these chi tanks. Are they super lightweight (like you feel like you're wearing nothing) and wicking?
They're wicking and super comfy, but not xtra lightweight like wearing nothing. I bought the Chi Ombre tank in the store, and then ordered 2 others online. I really like the cut and the fit, and they're slightly longer in back. They even make a long style, which I'll try in the future. Here's the one I bought: athleta.gap.com/browse/search.do?searchText=chi+ombre
@vtcupcake, an update to this- the rest of my Athleta order came in and the Chi striped tanks are super lightweight and feel like I'm wearing nothing. It's a much different feel than the Chi ombre tank I bought in the store. I love them both, but you might want to check out the Chi striped. I loved it for my 10-miler today, so it's the winner for my half marathon outfit.

Training for Augusta HIM relay last weekend of September. I'm feeling much more confident about it after yesterday's seven miler. Figuring out my vitamin b was low and getting started on B12 shots has really made a difference.
My training schedule is M-W-F an hour at 9 Round and T, H and S running.
H & F related purchase...I will be purchasing a sports bra ad cross trainers this week.
Non-H&F related purchase...I've been very good lately. But next Sat in going shopping so that'll end.
