the squirrels are dark black. And, there are crowns on everything, everywhere. Highway signs, coins, you name it.
AND, they vacuum the streets here. Literally. People ride around on little lawn mower thingies with large hoses dangling from the front, just sucking up all the street detritus.
There is more construction going on here than in any other place I have ever seen.
LOL they don't vacuum the streets elsewhere?? Too weird!
What? No way. I'm FROM there and I've never seen one. Oh god. They were hiding from me, weren't they? Those creepy ass rats with fuzzy tails, all grouped together in dark places. Watching me.

I went to AU for grad school and there are TONS of them in upper NW. They seem to be very localized though, I never say any when I lived on the Hill or in Alexandria.

I work in NYC and see the streets being vacuumed often, but we saw SIDEWALK vacuuming in Toronto last week. That was weird.

Minus the crown stuff, we have all that here in the Great Lake State. Though some parts don't have black squirrels but we do where i live.

That's not a Canada thing
They do it in Philly. I've seen it other places too, but can't put my finger on where.

That's because we have only three months out of the year in which to do it, lol.

I am in NOVA and there are a few black squirrels in my friends neighborhood which is literally right next to mine but none in my mine. It is weird. I also have a few white squirrels in my yard. I think they might be albino but I am not sure.
