Sometimes. This morning I yelped when she kicked me. I don't know what she kicked or why it hurt like that but that wasn't a fun way to wake up my precious child.
In a few more weeks the jabs to the ribs will really hurt.
Yep. I've gotten a few good jabs that have made me cry out. I hate when it happens when I'm out b/c people all stop and look at me like I'm crazy. They aren't horrible but surprise me because they are so much more forceful than the weaker squiggles or thumps. She's been kicking the same damn spot for over a week now and it's starting to get sore. Sometimes she will just push her foot out and leave it there and it hurts.
Yes, lol. DS would shove his foot into me and it hurt a lot but just for 5 seconds or so. Now he doesn't have the room to do that so he head butts me in the ass until it hurts.

I'm only 23 weeks and have two jabs that left my belly tender in those spots the next day. I thought DH did it to me the first time (we were in bed and I thought he like poked my belly)!

Oh yeah, especially from 30ish weeks onward. Not every kick, of course, but I'm often admonishing baby, "Ow, that hurts Mama!" I press gently but firmly on the protruding body part until he shifts it back to a more comfortable position.
