& clseale - you're still a badass runner who will qualify AGAIN (@ savannah!) and then pull a runblondie26 - be pregnant, have a baby and still have a faster time than me @ boston
Aw clseale - your attitude is always so good. That's why I have no question you'll do it again. I think baby time sounds really, really nice . And, it doesn't count you out of qualifying AGAIN, and running pregnant or with a little baby in a Boston onesie and hat in your H's front carrier cheering for mommy!!
Thanks, everyone. You guys are the best. I have to say, it was a really shitty email to get as I landed. It stings a lot...the two fucking seconds stings more than anything, but yeah, it sucks. It also sucks to be away from home surrounded by non running coworkers. Lol
Anyway, thousands of others are dealing with the same disappointment right now. It's just not our time. I'll have to talk to DH when I get home about timing & options, but in all likelihood, it probably just means this is baby time. I might get to Boston one day. We'll see.
I'm sorry for the reason it may be baby time, but glad to have someone to hold my breath with and take the plunge! Running Boston is totally a when, not an if for you. So 2015 wasn't it - maybe 2016 is. And as low as this point is, it'll make it seem SO sweet when it's your turn to get in.

Thanks again, everyone. It's just frustrating & disappointing. I knew this was a very real possibility after my BQ, but then the numbers this week looked really good! I did the math and said that close to 2k extra would have to apply for me to get cut. Sure as shit, there are 1,947 sad people tonight.
I have a few more weeks of tough training for Savannah to focus on. I'm looking forward to the race, and I should have a fat new BQ to throw in Boston's stupid face! (I in no way actually blame Boston, but let me be angry for 24hrs!)
A million times this. And clseale, I don't know if you'd consider going through a charity, but I'd be the first to donate. You are still a BQing rockstar!
I am full of mixed emotions right now. I'm so happy for those that made it and can't wait to cheer you on. And at the same time I am super bummed for those that just missed it. Like others said, it's a matter of when, not if you'll make it. You all worked super hard and are huge inspirations to everyone here.
This is how I feel. Hugs to ALL of you--those who made it and those who just barely didn't.
@sessalee, that baby makes me want another one. Just a little. Not enough to actually get my IUD pulled though, I have my hands full with Mr. Sinus infection+teething+hand food and mouth disease.
On that note clseale...I promise babies are pretty great, despite my description of AJ's current maladies. This is the first time he's been sick sick so I'm all OMG THIS IS HORRIBLE WTF. And you WILL be getting another BQ and kicking some Boston butt very soon, I know it.
Late to post, but huge congrats to jordylee and theoriginalbean. And clseale , you have such the right attitude. It'll be there when you're ready, and you will continue to kick ass in the meantime. You guys are awesome.
