I'm sorry he's being a dick. . Is he still seeing the girl he was dating a few months ago? (This is mostly curiosity, although if the relationship fell apart it could have triggered a relapse I guess).
No, not really. I feel like she was a good person and when they broke up it could've been a catalyst for a relapse. He doesn't do well alone at all. She still lives close by him so I think they do still "see" each other. One night when I was factoring with P she was there. It was a Saturday night around 9pm.
He texted asking for my address today and then said "there you go thanks for wasting my day" so I assume he took it. what I didn't know is WHERE he took it.
I told my attorney that he was balking at where I requested he test. He agreed it sounded really suspicious. So I'm not paying for it if a negative test comes back from where HE wanted to go. I don't trust him or the facility.
I also got the report from P's first school and I'm going to have the second school do a formal report and the counselor as well. I'm just gathering what I need to move forward with supervised visitation regardless of the drug test results. Whatever he's doing (and I STILL think it's drugs) is dangerous for P to be around.
I didn't realize that YOU had to pay for the tests. That sucks.

I'm laughing so hard. I just got the results in the mail. They came from HIS home address. The test is laughable. It's all handwritten although it is from some clinic by where he lives (or at least on their tablet). They misspelled "submitted". Seriously?! There's no way I'm paying for it or believing it.
I only pay if it's negative. I'm not paying for the test he took though because it was at a different facility than the one I asked him to go to.

So, he DID go to a different one? Why? Are you allowed to choose the location?
It doesn't specify in our court docs which location or who gets to choose. However I wanted the specific one I directed him to because my friend who does compliance testing HERE said that the location was completely legit. So naturally he refused to go there.

That makes me think of my XH. He'd say or do the most ridiculous things, and just expect everyone to believe him. I'd always joke that apparently I had broken out in words on my forehead that read "Fucking Stupid".

What! That so ridiculous. So what happens now? Will his visitation rights be suspended?

I was actually just seeing what would happen with a drug test. This proves to me that my gut instincts were correct. But I believe, drug test or no drug test, that we've got enough against him between both schools and the counselors expert witness report to at least get him back to only supervised visitation. The counselor actually thinks we should revoke visitation entirely until he takes some parenting classes, psych evaluation, etc.

What do they have to say? Is it drug related, or drugs just another log on the fire?

Lol can I even take a shot at whether the results were negative or positive?

So, have you presented this to the attorney? What are the steps you're taking now? I'm sorry if I'm being super nosy. I'm completely overinvested in your story.

So I presented the results to my attorney who just about died laughing. The "signature" actually looks traced because it's shaky.
The "doctor" that he got it from has actually been suspended several times and it's rumored that the office got broke into several times so who knows if the pad it was written on was stolen.
So we've got the report from one school and I'm waiting on the report from his current school. then we'll put in the emergency order to revoke visitation.
I hope they do revoke visitation for the time being. He's an imbecile. What made him think you'd accept some fake results? The nerve!
I feel like I've "played nice" for long enough and tried to give him multiple chances to be a father. He's nothing of the sort and he's got a horrible addiction that's directly effecting P. I cannot have him and his sick and twisted ways be an influence on my innocent child anymore. Enough is enough.

this is me too .. when it comes to dd and stbxh .. nice is not an adjective that will be used to describe me. imo, better NO influence than a BAD influence. i've got a RO (good for 3 years) and Criminal Protective Order (good for 10 years) that keeps stbxh away from. drug addiction is a horrible thing that i would not wish on anyone but i'll be damned if i willingly expose my child to that kind of behavior.
you're doing the right thing as painful as it might be. big, huge hugs
No, not anymore doriswe. He does have a breathalyzer in his truck that's mandatory for 3 years.
that sucks. And those breathalyzers are easy to get around, unfortunately.
Yes, and he has another truck that I'm sure he purchased for that entire purpose.
I'm really grateful that P doesn't have to go with him until Nov according to our new CO. He hasn't had any contact since Monday when he told me that he'd submitted to the drug test, er, um "subbitted" according to the misspelled word on the "drug test" results. He hasn't asked how P was or Facetimed or anything. So that's been a relief.
