Negative: 1. I was just called a very "Southern" phrase by someone who is clearly not from here....she told me "You have just been such a peach." Look, I speak Southern and I realize that means b@tch. Please....and thank you. Good grief. I know it sounds harmless....but trust me, it's not. I gave her the information she asked me for.
2. My chiropractor was 30 minutes late on my appointment today. No one in his office commented on this at all. I realize this is common in a normal doctor's office. But this is a 3 person staffed chiropractor's office. Usually, someone will say, "My bad."

I've started asking about the wait time when I check in for appointments, because one time I waited 45 minutes past my appointment time for a physical therapist and it turned out that no one had told him I was there. He just happened to pass by the window and see me sitting in the lobby, waiting for my appointment to start. At that point, it was too late to do anything and I had to reschedule.

Positive: I just got a call about a job I applied for back in June. Given how much time has passed I was shocked. I have a phone interview Thurs morning. If DH's job offer never comes, or they can't wait for him, or it falls through for whatever reason, I am going to need to find something so it's nice to finally get a call. It's in PA right where my brother lives so I could even stay with him for a while.
Negative: My cats are driving me up the freakin' wall! I can't do anything - work, packing, just sitting on the sofa - without them climbing all over me, getting into stuff, whining, or being otherwise annoying. I love them but they need to stop! It's hard being the only one here, usually they gravitate to DH over me which makes me sad but right now it would be nice!

Negative: My face keeps breaking out Yes vain, but still so annoying! Positive: A few of my packages came in today! YAY! Still waiting on a few more tomorrow and then Friday!
krystee I am convinced all the southern smiles are fake and they're really just ready to kill. Don't let the charm fool you "isn't that precious" gets thrown around a lot and they don't for a minute really mean precious. lol.
1: Negative- my shoulders and back are so sore. Ugh. I worry this is permanent pain 2: I am proud to have eaten healthy so far today.
In my experience, precious usually meant "cute....but weak attempt. Try again" UNLESS it is referring to an infant. We like to add multiple meaning to things too....like "Bless your heart" can mean "F you" or "So sorry you are going through that." The trick to deciphering which "Bless your heart" you were given is to understand the tone. Usually the former version has a little gut laugh that accompanies it.

Positive: I have accomplished what I set out to do today! I eve changed into new sweat pants lol. Negative: I am doing a terrible job staying hydrated.
Negative- I've only slept 2 hrs in the last 30 hrs, I'm exhausted. Positive- I posted the add for our rental property last night at 8pm and I have 2 people wanting to see it asap.
Eta: the posts I like are for the positives not the negatives!
Negative: I had to fast last night/this morning for blood work (insurance requirement) and I am completely exhausted. I didn't eat enough today and I'm so tired I don't even want to make dinner.
Positive: I'm finally home after a long day and I get to take my bra off.
I don't care if those aren't good, I'm too tired to think of anything else. Plus, taking my bra off is ALWAYS a positive.
jjwritergirl - What do you think caused the shoulder and back pain? If it's in the budget, I'd highly recommend a true deep tissue/pressure point massage. I was having a lot of upper back pain last month and a full body one, and I swear it helped! It hurt so good though. I was basically crawling away from her at some points.
travelbug - Negatives are allowed to be vain! That's frustrating.

jjwritergirl - You really want to focus on lifting with your legs and engaging your core. It'll keep you from hunching over and using your back when picking things (or babies!) up. Slouching and lifting are probably a big culprit.
I also have to consciously pull my shoulders back when I sit at the computer too long or I'll end up with a pinch.
