This is my mantle. I will add more pumpkins after the 26th when the pumpkin patches open. The same leaves that I have on my mantle I also have wrapped down my staircase and hanging on my curtain rods as well.
I have lots of plans for outside - but I won't do that until October 1. For now all I have is my fall wreath hanging out there.

Oh and I love the sunflowers. I hadn't considered adding them, but want to now. I passed my favorite plant market yesterday and wanted one of everything!!
I love the red and orange. You can't see the wreath because of the storm door but it's similar to the centerpiece with leaves, berries and pinecones. I want a new one. It's "well loved" and a little faded.
I remember one episode of Martha Stewart, she took like 30 pumpkins and drilled several holes in each pumpkin and set them up on a porch to look like a snake (put candles inside). Who has time for that shit other than Martha? It was pretty cool though.

Tinybride - I love that wreath and have actually considered making one with those colors but didn't find any. I actually bought an initial for our front door but it ended up being too small for the space - so this might be a good compromise. Laz - I love your mantle. Soooo cute!! I love the burlap and owl and the colors together.
I didn't! I got it at Joanns. It was one of those 40% off things too. I bought it a few weeks ago. After I am done using it as garland I am going to unravel it and prob re-use it for something else.

I've been having a hard time finding a fall wreath.
They're either $$$ or look way too cheap. I also don't like the ones that are too "shabby chic". Not sure if that description makes sense, but I feel like Pinterest probably has examples.
Not crafty at all really, but we did have fun spray painting some leaves in metallic paint and attaching them to a cheapo wreath last year. I don't have a picture though.

All I have put out so far are my blue pumpkins. My fat orange cat named Pumpkin decided he wanted to be a part of the centerpiece as well. Decorating the rest this coming weekend.

I placed mums on my front steps and want to put some pumpkins there too, but I am not actually sure the mums will survive given that my steps don't get sun until 3pm or so.
I really want a wreath, but my door doesn't have any protection from the elements, so I am not sure what I am going to do.
I also am in the process of putting together a halloween mantel piece, but haven't put up anything yet (other than some pumpkins/goards).

I just bought some prints for our photo wall. Hopefully those come in soon. I really wish our HOA allowed wreathes on the door I miss having a real front door and porch around fall and Christmas. I may grab some mums and put them on our balcony and clean up the entryway table to put some fall stuff on.

Loving this floral bumpkin with gold studs from Good housekeeping. Definitely want to make it.
LOL My mom showed me that picture from "Good Housekeeping" while I was in Oregon, and she pronounced that "you can make that, flex!" I was like "yeah sure, Mom. I could but...like I REALLY HAVE TIME to sit down and put something like that together!!" lol

Seriously?? That's some BS right there. I suppose they don't allow outside lights too?

CurlyQ284 - I live in a condo building. They are super strict. And yes, no outside lights on our balconies because it's a hazard if they fall 42 floors and strangle someone.

So during the holidays it just looks...like a regular day? That's so sad.
ETA for me anyway. I would be a caged bird, you gotta let me fly! Other people might not care but i put lights on anything that stays still.

I hear you on the wreath cost. When I looked into making the hydrangea one, the stems were like $8 a piece and that didn't include the actual wreath form to build it out of. I was looking at like $80 with all of the materials.
Weird question- I have a boxwood wreath that I have hanging on a door in my kitchen. I mentioned using it on my front door occasionally and my neighbor was horrified! She was like, um no! A spider could lay eggs in it. You should have indoor wreaths and outdoor wreaths. I had never really thought of that. :/

People like me caused this rule I think...
Oh, believe me. I have huge windows and my Christmas tree will fill every square inch of it so the building next to us will know how much I love Christmas.
