never been, but I don't have any moles. I'll be going next year though for some cherry angiomas that have been popping up and to maybe sneak in some botox and get a retinol cream.

I saw a dermatologist for acne as a teen, but have not been as an adult. But I really should be getting regular checks with my pale heavily speckled skin. I really need to get a PCP first though...

I have moles all over and have had several removed and tested, but I never knew I was supposed to go every year.

I have never been but I do need to go because I have an allergy to the cold and it is getting worse.

Melanoma is almost always 100% curable when caught at the earliest stages. Go!!

Yes every year for a mole check then anything that comes up

Yes I go annually. My mom goes every few months (she has morphia scleroderma) so I've always gone out of habit from seeing her. I always ask about wrinkles and he always tells me they look great on me lol.

I went a few years ago. I had a mole on my chest that H would always mess with while she was nursing. It started bleeding when she would scratch it too much so I went in and the derm just removed it and another mole I had. She wasn't worried about either of them so it was more cosmetic I guess, though she did biopsy them just in case. I think I will try and go again next year when the baby is born because I will have met my deductible for the year. Otherwise its super high and its hard for me to justify going when I'm basically going to have to pay for the whole visit. Its probably dumb because my dad has had a few basal cell carcinomas and I think my grandpa had melanoma.

Every year, I am very white and have many moles (insert Austin powers gif here). It's just something I have to do to keep an out out for changes in my moles.

I've never had any moles but I know I saw one somewhere on my body recently.. but where. I will look later when not at my desk. Maybe I'll make an appointment soon then. I mean I should have my scalp looked at anyway. Could they check my skin for melanoma AND check my scalp/prescribe me medicated shampoo in one visit? hmmm.

DH and I go every once in a while for our horrible acne. But that's about it. DH has had a strange lump on his shoulder for at least 15 years and the derm said they didn't know what it was and offered to biopsy it but didn't seem concerned. So he passed. Well now that mother fucker hurts so he's going at the end of the month to see what they want to do. It's grown in size a little bit too. Fun...

It is covered 1x/year with my insurance as a preventative office visit. That being said, I don't go every year, more like every other year.

I said never because the last time I went was for a wart removal when I was 11 or 12? Yeah, not good.

I should look and see if my insurance covers a visit. My guess is not.

I had no idea you are supposed to go regularly! I haven't been since I was a teen with acne. Oh, and when I had my allergic reaction to sulfa medications.

I went once for these weird bumps I kept getting, I had to go 3 times and they concluded that they had no idea what it was. I haven't been back.

Every 6 months - I've already had melanoma TWICE - and the first time it was deep enough that they had to also remove lymph nodes.

Go! It's quick and 100% curable if detected early enough

Yes. I should go annually, but I haven't been yet this year. I'm due to go in by the end of this month, but I know that won't happen.

I go every six months because I've had basal and squamous cell. In fact I just went last week and had two spots removed and two frozen.

Yes. She normally has me on a 2 year schedule, but this year she wanted me to come in early to check on a semi weird spot. I'm hoping it's normal and I can go back to every other year

Yes! I try to go every year, aside from the few years I didn't have insurance. I have lots of moles and things like that. Most years a few get removed.

I make H go also. Tyler sees the pedi dermatologist for other skin issues every year.

I suck. I rarely get to the doctor for the things I need to. This is no exception.
