It is not cancer!! It is an abnormal hamartoma. Since it isn't made like the normal hamartoma, he will have it monitored. He goes back next September to have a CT w/o contrast. If he has shortness of breath or a lung infection before Sep. 2015 , he will have a test sooner. It has a slight chance of it becoming problematic due to the size. Hamartomas continue to grow. At some point he may need it removed. We will cross that path when we get there. Until then I will breathe easier. *
I finally broke down today. I had an immediate sense of relief. I wouldn't cry in front of H. Today I did. We hugged it out.

Thank you for all of your support. The last few months have been a roller coaster. Friday he was notified he was getting a promotion. Yesterday, Allie got student of the week. Then today was no cancer news. I think we are on a great streak of luck.
