First stretch 2.5 hours but that's never a bad one so we'll see the rest of the night. Except I just went to bed a little before he woke up which always sucks

This is the first night all week my kids are sleeping well. But I have been awake for a couple of hours. I am getting Henry's cold. My throat hurts and is keeping me awake. I really hope I feel better this weekend. DH and I Have a kids free getaway planned.

After our eventful evening he had one of the best nights in weeks. I guess screaming blood curdling screams for almost an hour and a half makes one sleep well?
I had him down by 8:15, he woke at 11:40 for a quick snack and then came to bed with me a little after 3 where is sleeping even though I got up with the big one 20 minutes ago. He used to sleep a hour or two after Daniel and I got up but the last week or two he's been up about 10 minutes later.
tuck and shevacc how are my due date buddies sleeping?
Thanks for asking. Really well, generally...I got a stretch from 10-3 with some sidelying nursing that I mostly sleep through since we bedshare. But he woke up at 3 and hasn't yet gone back down. I tried nursing then he spit up on me. I changed his diaper, nursed him sitting up, and finally put him in the RnP. He's grunting loudly with his eyes closed right now. I just hope he doesn't wake G and goes back to sleep.
I'm still exhausted from our trip. Tuesday night I went to sleep when the kids did and G was up at 1am. She woke A and he did the same grunting/not sleeping thing he's doing now for the whole rest of the night until she was up for the day at 6.
she's awake right now. i'm tired, but i know i've got to get up soon. my mom is here to visit, and she's still on central time. i can hear that she's already up (or we're being robbed by the quietest robbers ever). her 6 am is my 4 am.
i'm super excited that she's here, but it's going to be a long day.
Well another almost 2.5hr followed by 45min but the 45min was because of a poopy diaper and he went back down with just the paci so that's good.
The thread seems slow so I hope most people had a good night... Or was everyone just to tired to post?
@jayhawkali I don't see you in here much, maybe I just miss you - how is A sleeping?

She's doing ok. Way better than Brady was. Last night she slept 9-1 then 430 then usually wakes when Brady comes in between 6-7. The night before she was up a lot more bc her paci kept falling out.

Loco Coco, thanks for thinking of us always! We're still in every hour hell. I've been muscling through. Matt went into work late so I could catch a few extra minutes of sleep. But lots of coffee today.
Sending sleepy vibes! skiesthelimit, I'm so so sorry, sweetie. Feel better soon!
I have to say this forum/you guys have really given me some perspective. Otherwise I might complain about william waking every 3 hours to eat at this age but instead I'm like "he's doing ok actually with sleep!"
William went down at 815 up at 12 then 3 then 545 after which he wouldn't go back.
So not terrible I suppose
I still feel annoyed thinking back to when he was a few weeks old and sleeping 7-8 hour stretches. I was tricked! Lol
I don't know why I'm reading this at 1pm, but we are going through the same exact thing, so I guess it's normal?
yes I'm just afraid its going to keep getting worse and worse.. like a few weeks ago I was like, ok so he's not donig 8 anymore but 6 is still good! and now I'm like, every 3 isn't THAT bad! next month will I be saying every 1.5 isn't bad at least it's not every 45 minutes?? aaah

Same, C was actually a great sleeper at like 5 weeks, then it all went to shit. It's usually 3 hours at the most, maybe 4 or 5. I can't remember the last time she slept 6 hours straight.
are you planning to sleep train?
I'm fine with things as of now (william is still in the magic sleepsuit, in a bassinet that is too small for him to roll in), but I assume things will continue to deteriorate until I crack
But its a bit more difficult this time around, because his screaming will just wake matilda! so I feel like ferber will be impossible. Also I just plain don't want to do it (but I do want him to sleep, and it worked well for matilda). So I'm just playing it by ear ...

So last night we all slept downstairs on couches since it's cooler. Brady didn't wake up at all when A did like I thought he would or even when dh was trying to fix the ac. So I'm hoping that means a shared room for them will work.

We are biting the bullet next week. I'm quickly approaching the end of my rope. Probably will mostly work on falling asleep on her own since right now I have to hold for like 2 hours before she goes down. And naps. I need her to nap in her bed so I can spend that time with G. I really hope it works.
This is the hardest part for us too, he will only nap on me and then I'm stuck on the couch and can't play with Lincoln.
