Not my country, not for me to form an opinion. I do hope that Scotland is prepared for what really comes from breaking away if that is their decision. I'm invested in the story and how it unfolds, it's interesting.
It's not sanctioned or recognized by the central government and it "goes against the constitution."
Is it "illegal" the way the U.S. Constitution is arguably "illegal" because all the framers were supposed to go was amend the Articles of Confederation? Or is it "illegal" like they are just making shit up totally off the books?
Not that either would be an acceptable reason for ignoring the issues raised by the Catalan independence movement, I'm just curious.

Sorry for the brief posts. I'm supposed to be finishing up a big project I want Cataluña to hold the referendum and I want it to be a "No." It will be interesting to see what happens!
