Drugs. For real. I took diclectin which is not available in the US I think, but just take whatever they'll give you. And eat whatever works. I lived in green apples and cheese sandwiches the first few weeks.

It is now! Diclegis. It's expensive so I hope your dr is generous with the samples or your insurance covers it.
Until you go to the dr, unisom+b6 is pretty similar and helped me. I think I did half a b6 in the morning + a whole unisom and half a b6 in the evening. I think it totals 100 mg of b6 a day but you could call your OB and talk to the nurse and ask. (Some people split the unisom into 2, but it made me sooooo tired I could not function.) If you are miserable, take something so you can at least function.
Eat whatever sounds like it will go down. Don't let your stomach get too empty. Carry a snack with you (not kidding, I go from fine to STARVING in 3 minutes and start heaving). Both pregnancies I ate a lot of pizza, macaroni and cheese, crackers, pb crackers, toast, bagels, applesauce, jolly ranchers, mints, etc. If you can get something with protein down it seems to help, even if it's McDonald's breakfast or peanut butter or some cream cheese on a bagel.
Also, on the list of foods that sound even remotely appetizing right now: apples and spaghetti with meat sauce. Nothing else.

Hmmm. How about I just make you a couple of my signature travel morning sickness bags? Like, for real, I will. Even the delux version, where I include paper towels to wipe your mouth (and for the really forceful voms, your nostrils) in between the paper bag and plastic liner

I could use these. But after having hyperemesis with my first and wrecking my body, I could also use a change of pants or Depends. I'm terrified to throw up anywhere but home.

oh, cheese. Yes, I ate so much cheese because it was the one thing that always tasted good and didn't make my stomach turn when I thought of it. I still eat a lot of cheese now in the 2nd trimester.

Anything sour, or peppermint. Suck on something all the time. Ginger ale, crackers. ALL the carbs. Whenever I would drink it had to be ice cold. Block cheese. Did I mention carbs? Seriously, anything that sounds good, eat that for every meal if you have to.

I kept a granola bar by my bedside because if I didn't eat immediately after waking, I was so ill.
I also lived on apples, lemonade, brownies, and buttered pasta for weeks. I could not tolerate raw vegetables for the entire pregnancy. They made me gag.
Lemon drops and hard sour candies or jolly ranchers were huge.
I also took half a Unisom twice daily and that helped a lot too.
Umeboshi plums (found at Japanese groceries) worked so well for my nausea the second time. They are super sour and salty, I bought them by the truckload, lol
