I'm so sorry shevacc, another vote for this sounds illegal. I think I remember you having issues with your manager, and no matter how this shakes out I'm confident this is the start of bigger and better for you.
I am so sorry. I hope you find something even better very soon. Please try not to stress, it will all work out even better! You are in my thoughts. Enjoy your sweet babies!
I'm sorry. That's rough. I hope something comes quickly for you.
I was told two days after A was born that I'd been surplus-ed as a teacher and that if I still wanted to teach, I'd have to interview and job fair again. I was pissed. My principal made it so that my position was eliminated even though I had seniority in the building.

Aw man, that sucks. Are they offering you severance at least? I remember where you work, but what do you do? I hope you can find something with an awesome commute at a place that makes you happy.
Regardless, I'm so sorry. I agree with bigapple though: everyone I know that's been caught up in layoffs has found much, much better positions elsewhere. Thinking of you and sending good luck. Big hugs.

I'm so sorry. When this happened to me, I was devastated . I really do believe that when one for closes and even bigger one does open. Please be kind to yourself!
