Each night I toss and turn for a good hour before I fall asleep. I can nap on the couch easily but I think that's screwing my hips and back up so don't want to sleep there all night. I also can't stand the recliner - even though many of you I know enjoy them. I have 2 body pillows on either side so toss between right side, back, and left side.
I'm not pregnant, but I used lots of pillows. One on either side of me, lying on my side so one pillow was under the bump, plus a contour foam pillow between my legs. I still sleep like that:)
Lots of tossing and turning to each side with many bathroom trips throughout the night. I just haven't been able to get used to my snuggle pillow so think I need to try just pillows between my legs to see if that helps. My hips have started to hurt this past week. And also isn't helping sleeping on my sore arm from the tdap and flu shots!
I sleep with my snoogle, either with my back to it and the bottom part between my legs, or facing it with the bottom part between my legs. Lately it's been more comfortable to face it, I feel like my belly is more supported that way.
Oh yes the lovely potty breaks. I swear right when I get comfy I have to get up. I put the body pillow between my legs and also against my belly for support. I just miss sleeping comfy on my back.
I am also doing the snoogle back and forth rotation. I have had several nights recently where I wake up and can't get back to sleep, but on the plus side, my hips haven't been hurting as much lately! No clue why as nothing has really changed.
Sometimes I do give up at some point and go sleep on the couch with a pillow between my legs.

King size pillow between my legs, on my side. I also have a pillow under my arm to prop myself up. I switch sides every wakeup, anywhere from 2-4 times nightly. All that to say -- not well. I dream of sleeping on my stomach again!
I flip side to side with my snoogle, but when I wake up with the fire of a thousand suns in my throat which I have been getting lately I prop myself on an incline and sit up for awhile.
Sitting up on the couch with my head propped by pillows or not at all.
It was my hips at first that caused too much pain to get comfy but then I've developed sleep apnea so I wake up gasping multiple times a night if I'm horozontal at all (back or side).
Ah, the third trimester... the reason birthing a baby seems like a good idea and less scary. Anything to make it all just stop!
So while hopelessly awake one night I started to get really horrible cramps - which ended up being gas pains. I was still in the twilight not asleep but dead to the world stage of non-sleep and I thought "OMG am I in labor? It's so early!" then....."Oh, if I'm in labor that would be GREAT! I'll be DONE! and can sleep laying down again!"
I used to sleep with pillows between my legs and behind me, but that started to get uncomfortable. What's comfortable for me now is no pillows between my legs or behind me, but a pillow to hug. I still flip from side to side and get up to go to the bathroom, but my back doesn't hurt in the morning anymore.

Um... In a word: "Badly."
The only position I'm actually comfortable in at this point is flat on my back. But apparently that's not safe. I prop pillows under my belly and behind my back to try to keep myself on my side, but it's not particularly comfortable.
