I wanted to order custom name blocks for the nursery and contacted a seller on Etsy. She replied to just send me the name and she would email me a custom order link. This was two weeks ago and I reached out two more times and heard nothing.

That is so cute! I love the name, too. We considered it for awhile until I realized with the middle name, our daughter would have an almost identical name to my cousin's daughter.

This happened to me. I was the only girl for YEARS and about 14 years ago my aunt had a girl they named Alyssa Ann. It's idential sounding to my name (same middle name), only the first name starts with a different letter. I found it strange.

If this child were a girl her middle name would have been Ann. It's a family name and I love it!
The letters are adorable! Good job sticking it to Etsy lady and saving money!
Used 4x4 wood plaques (the ones with a raised center) and painted the sides white. Then I used Mod Podge to attach scrapbooking paper to the small raised square spots in the middle (use foam brush brush mod podge over wood then also on paper reaching to the sides. Place paper, smooth out bubbes, let dry 15 min. Then use brush to apply mod podge over paper to seal. Let dry hr)
Then I used the mod podge to put on the letters (but added a little elmer's glue because I wasn't sure they would hold) and then I mod podged over everything after those dried because I got the one wit a glossy finish. Then I added some embelishments (mod podge again!)
I attached lace loops to the back and covered with another square of paper to hang (mod podge the crap out of everything)
