Grilled cheese and homemade tomato soup tonight. Monday and Wednesday dh has class so I'll eat leftovers or a sandwich. Tuesday I have class so Dh will probably eat leftovers or make himself something. Thursday, homemade spaghetti with Dh's sauce and meat balls. Garlic bread and salad. Friday cranberry chicken and rice with asparagus.
Spiced lamb with hummus and pickled onions Stir fried Mongolian noodles with chicken Chicken cordon bleu with roasted sweet potato salad Lamb chops with mint gremolata and baby potatoes Lemongrass pork chops with ginger butter corn
We wouldn't normally have lamb twice in one week but I'm really craving it and I couldn't decide between the two recipes so I put them both on the menu.

Lol, cereal K. My recipe involves heating up a package of Melissa's pre-cooked lentils and serving with spicy kielbasa or Italian sausage. It's one of our quickie dinners, and for some reason DD eats lentils by the fistful.
If we're feeling fancy, we drizzle the lentils with smoked balsamic or add a dollop of sour cream and some diced jalapeños.

H is out of town for most of the week so I'm making all of MY favorites:
Tonight - Chicken Scallopini Monday - Pierogies Tuesday - Pulled Pork Sandwiches Wednesday - Pizza Thursday - Paula Deen's mac and cheese (H won't touch this) Friday - leftovers Saturday - not sure yet, but I may give the kids breakfast for dinner and get sushi for myself
The only thing I have planned so far is Cherry Basil Ham Steak, steamed veggies, and the kale salad frm Costco (that I found at Sam's the other day, too!)
I'll go grocery shopping on Tuesday, so I'm looking for inspiration in here!

Tonight we had oven baked shrimp, cold sesame noodles, and roasted carrots.
We don't have the kids next week (except Wed), so I don't plan as much. So far, just:
M: grilled bratwurst & potatoes T: lemon chicken rice soup W: maybe tacos or nachos? H made a huge batch of homemade tortilla chips today, but they probably won't last until Wed R: sandwiches and chips and salad F-Mon: on vacation! We have a wedding in CT and I can't wait.

My H makes amazing ribs. He marinated in Sierra mist and honey. Baked low and slow at 250-275 for 2-3 hours then baste with BBQ and throw on the grill for about 10 minutes. Amazing!
For once we've properly planned meals and shopped accordingly Can you tell we're trying to lose weight?
