Ray Lewis about Ray Rice: 'There's some things you can cover up, some things you can't' (VIDEO)

Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, now an ESPN analyst, said something Sunday morning he probably regrets when talking about Ray Rice's indefinite suspension after he punched his then-fiance Janay Palmer in the face in a hotel elevator.

Lewis was indicted on charges of murder and aggravated assault in January 2000, after a fight at a Super Bowl party resulted in the stabbing deaths of two men, Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar.

Murder charges against Lewis were dropped after he testified against two others who were charged along with him, and Lewis plead guilty to a misdemeanor obstruction of justice charge.

The reaction to Lewis' comments on social media were not surprising:

Every single time he talks about Ray rice it is cringe inducing. I'm not sure why they haven't pulled him off broadcasts for a while.
