This weekend ended up busier than I anticipated - so I managed to be lazy in the mornings and then out for the afternoons and evenings. My house cleaning was sadly neglected.
I am going to try relaxing as much as I can during the week to be ready for vacation this weekend

I had kind of a busy weekend - did the usual grocery shopping Friday night, then we had Oktoberfest Saturday, and yesterday we had lunch with BF's mom for her birthday. I'm a bit wiped out this morning, as I'm battling cramps and emotions I can't get on top of, and my son woke up at a weird hour wanting to be read to. I just need to power through so I can lie down!
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."
Ugh, indeed. Tonight, I need to break up with the guy I've been dating for a while. It just isn't fair to him for me to drag this out any longer. School's kicking my ass. Work is busy as hell. I need to pack for my weekend trip.

My weekend was good.. Friday night my little brother came over and we ordered food and played games. Saturday I went over to P's, we were supposed to go see a movie but his son was too beat from his football game so we just stayed in and watched TV and ate popcorn. The next morning P made a typical Dominican breakfast which was delish. The rest of the day yesterday I scrubbed my kitchen, applied for a few jobs, and watched Netflix.

good morning! i had a great weekend - my pup is feeling better, i got a lot of cleaning done, watched a lot of football, and i got a new iphone! i didn't get laundry done so i'll do that today/tonight, and then run errands after work. tomorrow is my dog's birthday and she's had a rough month so she's getting a pupcake to celebrate
I dropped my car off at the shop to get new brakes and rotors... I'm sick of bleeding money when I just paid off my credit cards. Eh. Oh well, this is life.
On other money related news, I bit the bullet and ordered my fall/winter wardrobe staples. They should be here today. I love AE. They run a buy one get one 50% off on their fall stuff, then I have a 40% rewards coupon and free 2 day shipping. It was definitely worth getting over $200 off my order. Now all I need to do is pick up some socks and a few sweaters when it gets really cold, and possibly a new winter coat. I also invested in new bras this weekend. I'm all set.
Woke up earlier than normal today and was 15 min early for work. This never happens. I'll take it.
Today is day 1 of the 21 Day Fix for me. I really need to commit to this, because I have let myself go like crazy. I did a ton of cooking and meal prep yesterday.
Weekend was great -- nice and low key. I am BEAT this morning, though. A friend called me last night, b/c he's having some significant relationship problems, so I met him for a chat, which meant getting to bed later than I wanted. He's a good dude, though, and a good friend, and I'm glad I could be there for him. Theoretically. I was terribly unhappy when my alarm went off. I intended to get up early to work out, but that didn't happen. Fortunately, I don't have plans after work, so I can get it done later.

gozf tell me more about the 21 day fix! I'm starting whole thirty today and a work out program!
I'm only on my first day, so I can't speak to results or how I like it yet. But I can tell you the reasons why I thought it might work for me!
Basically, it seems like the goal is to get you to learn portion control and clean eating, while getting into the habit of exercising daily. I need to get a handle on all of these things. The system tries to make things relatively foolproof.
For food, you are given these little color coded containers, and that's what you're allowed to eat. The containers themselves are terrifyingly small, but you're allowed multiples of several of them a day, and once your food is plated, it looks like a decent amount. It makes you aware of what you're putting into your mouth, and how that fits in, nutritionally. You're also having three meals and two snacks, so you're not starving. I'm doing the Shakeology shakes, which are expensive. I like the flavor, though, and as of right now, I'm not hungry, so it's filling. I'm not sure whether or not I'll re-order the shakes -- time will tell. I've got my meal plan for the week mapped out, and I did a lot of cooking and meal prep yesterday, so my meals are prepared through Thursday and figured out through Sunday.
Exercise-wise, you get DVDs, and you're supposed to do one 30 minute workout a day. (On days 15-21, I think you're supposed to do two, but i'm not there yet, so I don't know!) They rotate -- total body cardio, upper body, lower body, pilates, yoga, etc. I like that the workouts are short and have a good variety.
Basically, I need a push to get off the fast-food (again) and into healthier habits. I like that I have a coach and a challenge group for support and recipe ideas. People seem to generally have impressive results if they stick to this -- my coach lost 7 lbs in her first round of it. I'm optimistic!
I have the absolute BEST/WORST imprint of a soccer ball on my inner thigh. I got blasted by a shot last night in my game and now have two almost perfect hexagons bruised into my leg.
Now as my thighs rub together when I walk I get a little pang a of pain... fun times!

I've been trying to eat healthy the past few weeks...like 2 I think and started tracking. I hate weighing myself because it seems like it never moves. My pants seemed looser this morning, but I can't tell if I'm losing or my pants just need washed.

I am working on a case where Plaintiff's counsel has now done two INCREDIBLY douchey things and I am PISSED OFF! I want to punch these guys in the face. Like, seriously? Screw you guys. They have made my job SOOOO much harder now having to fix their douchiness.

I went to Jersey for a long GTG weekend and I'm whooped. Had an AMAZING time with 10 girls from my old anniversary board and it was just so much fun. I should've taken today off to recover.
While I was off having fun without my kids and husband, J turned a year old on Saturday! My baby is now a toddler. He started at B's school/daycare today and the director texted me a picture of him sitting at a table and chairs having snack. He seems too little for that! It was so adorable though.
I am not thrilled it is Monday. I feel like I'm in a big funk lately and need to work up some enthusiams for anything other than hanging out on my couch at home.
The weekend was good. Friday night I just made dinner at home and relaxed. Saturday I took my dogs to the vet for a checkup/shots, then BF and I had lunch/beers while watching college football at a bar. Came home, napped, and went to a friend's birthday get together at night. Sunday we just messed around the house all morning, then cleaned, mowed the lawn, and I did a big grocery/household stuff shopping trip last night. There are still a few little things that need finishing around the house, but I feel like the weekend was both fun AND productive, which doesn't always happen.

The weekend went by way too fast! It doesn't even seem like I had time to do anything...though I was somewhat lazy, so maybe that's why.
This is going to be another long week. I work my regular hours and then 4 straight nights at my other job starting Wednesday. Oy. I also have my first counseling appointment in about 6 months this evening. I'm nervous and don't know what to expect other than me probably bawling for a good portion of it. I hope to come away with some coping strategies that work for me. When I've seen this counselor before, I felt that I did well during sessions and for a few hours afterward, however, I couldn't sustain that feeling or understanding of what we discussed. We'll see.

Good luck shauniemae! It's hard to make changes but just remember you are doing awesome.
This is a short week for me! It would have been my anniversary on Thursday. Instead of moping around home, I decided to take a trip. I am going to Austin and onedayatatime will be there, yay!!

I LOVE this program! ! I lost 6 inches on my first round. Starting round 2 today. I didn't follow the eating program as well as I could have but still managed to lose inches. Hoping to be more committed this round.

Ouch! I do not miss that pain.
I wasn't really busy this weekend. Took it wash for the most part.
