Are our kids too young for Playmobil? The suggested age range is 4-10.
When we were on vacation this summer my 5 year old niece had a Polly Pocket car set with tiny pieces that L played with for hours. (When my niece wasn't there to take it from her!) I never would've thought she was ready. Now I'm considering a Playmobil set for Christmas but I can't decide if she's ready or if the vacation Polly Pocket was a fluke.

I think they would be fine. Charlie plays with Ethan and jacks. Some sets have small pieces, so I might take those out...but otherwise I bet she would be fine.
L has a couple of sets, including the school bus & I took away a few of the accessories like the backpacks, hats , etc but for the most part they are fine - Lreally likes them too
I got G the school bus and a playground set when A was born. I took out the smallest accessories and I won't leave her alone playing with it (every now and again she puts stuff in her mouth) but she enjoys it. I'm planning to get her a larger set for Christmas.
