I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old; we only use the double stroller a handful of times a year. By next summer, I think I'll sell it. We never, ever do any theme parks or stuff like that, though.

We don't go to theme parks either. And storing it outside all winter just to sell in the spring seems silly.

Yeah, in your case, I'd sell now. Mine is a cheap thing, and I have lots of storage.

We used our doubles pretty regularly until DD was 7. We walk a lot and go a lot of places where long distances were covered. DD is also a small person. She and her brother are three years apart, but they weigh the same. He is the younger.
For some outings it made a big difference to have it. They also used it for seats as festivals and events.
I used the double jogging stroller for the last time the Summer before DD1 started kindergarten. She was 4, very close to 5. DS hasn't gone into a stroller since he was 3 (his choice).

I'm thinking that I will still use mine soon. We are moving within .5 mile of preschool and want to walk with the DS from drop off and pick up. At ages 2 and almost 4 I think it'll be fastest to have them both in the stroller.
DS1 would be fine walking, but DS2 would really slow us down. And I have a feeling he'd throw a fit if older brother got to walk and he didn't. Then I'd give in and let DS2 walk and DS1 would see the empty stroller and want to get in. So easiest for me to just push them both.

The key is how you use it. I have a double bob and put my 6 and 3 yr olds in it and wear my 9month old. There is no other way I could get my exercise in on the weekend when my husband travels. We also use it for theme parks. Where we live it is almost a way of travel. If you haven't used it in a year sell.
we have used ours a couple of times this summer. DS1 is 4 1/2. The problem is, if his brother is riding, he wants to ride. He's a big kid (45 lbs and 45 ") so he really is way too big for a stroller, but if we're headed to a festival and it's a 30-40 minute walk, we stick him in it.
I ran last week with both boys in the double stroller. DS2 is 36 lbs, so they're 81 lbs together, plus the weight of the stroller. Man, that was hard!
My kids are 3.5 and 2. We've only used the double stroller at amusement parks and when we do a lot of walking on vacations. I imagine that by next summer, we'll just use the single for my younger kiddo, or none at all (or the wagon - that's always fun).
My answer factors in 0 trips to Disney, lol. Also, we drive everywhere, so no stroller commuting needed.
If we are going any where and will be walking > 30 minutes, I bring the double stroller. DS1 is 3 and will start out walking but ends up needing a break at some point. We do a lot of walking (I have a dog and SAHM).
If you haven't used your double then you should sell it.
