LIP: What do you think of this dress for a wedding

I’m going to a cocktail (not super fancy, but not casual) wedding over Labor Day weekend. What do you guys think of this dress?

Too "young girl"-ish? Why am I having sucha difficult time finding a dress?! (fwiw, I don't want an all-black LBD)

I think it looks a little young but it's "cute". Have you tried White House Black Market? That's my go-to for wedding guest dresses and they've started incorporating more color than just the black and white.

I like it. I think with the right accessories, you can 'age' it a little bit.

Ditto on WHBM - they have good party dresses. I was looking at one earlier for $30 on sale.

Yeah, I was a little worried it was a little "young" looking. I am such a sucker for poka dots!

I can't believe it's taking me so long to find a freaking dress to wear to a wedding. Everything I look seems "dance party" or too business like.

I actually really like the Express one, but do you think it's a little "dance party"-ish?
What color should I get? (I am Asian), and what color heels with the dress?

Also, the J & S from Nordstrom posted earlier was really nice. But you noted you're staying away from all black. But if I have the body to go with that, that's hot and the price is really good.
