This is her "official" Christmas dress for pics and whatnot:
Plus she has a green and white striped tunic with a santa face on it, a red fine cord romper with something smocked at the top that I'm probably going to sell, a top and pants set in red fine cord with smocked Christmas trees, a plaid skirt with a coordinating cream cardigan, a red cord dress with her initial embroidered on it, a casual tunic and legging set, and I've probably ordered some other things that I do not recall.
Hello, my name is redheadk, and I have a children's holiday clothing problem.
carolinagirl831, really loving that plaid! I wanted to do a plaid dress but couldn't find one I liked. It's hard to buy plaid online. What brand is it?

It's all girls, people!!! Okay, there are two boy outfits, but it's only because those moms also have girls, lol! #sourgrapes #notgenderdisappointedbutshoppingdisappointed
Dont your kids grow ? L grew an inch from June to August. I buy for this month then reassess. I could never buy this far out.
She does but its at a pretty even rate. She's always a size behind her age so at Christmas she'll be days away from 24 months but I can guarantee she'll still be in 18 months!

Not much. She's had a growth spurt but she's still on the small side. I'm buying 2T for holiday wear because she's just now able to fit into it but it's still a little big, big enough that we should be good for a few months.

DD has grown pretty consistently so far - she's tall but thin, so I usually just have to make sure that I'm not buying something that's too wide. Christmas has actually been our trickiest time for buying ahead because she tends to shoot up in height right around then, but I only buy super clearance stuff or ebay stuff or consignment sale stuff when I buy ahead, so I'm not out too much if it doesn't work. If I buy something NWT, I also keep the tags on everything until the last minute to keep resale value if it doesn't work out, but I am lazy about reselling, so who knows if that will ever happen.

I think I'm getting the boys these sweaters in oatmeal from HA for Christmas - worn with a chambray shirt and khakis for pictures and parties and with jeans and a tee shirt for the rest of the winter.

It's J&J Lavish and Luxe from 2011. Ebay. Now I'm ISO the matching velvet headband.
I just gave away the dress and headband this summer.
I have already purchased two HA christmas sweater dresses off of Ebay for Santa pictures as well as two red dresses they will wear to church. I have a problem.
I have also purchased two outfits for the girls for Thanksgiving already. I'm at work on my phone so I can't pip.

DS is getting the short end of the stick and is just going to wear a white polo shirt.
These are for holiday photos, obviously. I haven't found anything worth buying for boys. Toddler sizes always have cute stuff, but once they size out of toddler sizes, its all stupid graphic tees.

I decided to go a different direction this year than the typical holiday colors. I bought the orange to wear for our annual family photos and the purple for Christmas. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted
