I don't know. I mean, it looks bad, but what would have been gained by calling you? DS has gotten bites like that and I wouldn't have expected them to call me.
Also, I don't necessarily think this means they weren't being supervised. This stuff happens so quickly sometimes.

I don't think I'd be returning. Aside from that, because it was drop in care, I think you can voice the reasons you won't be returning but I don't know what other recourse you have.

I will say, I would be upset that she was being picked on and the staff did nothing. That makes me wonder if their supervision is always so lax. In fact, that makes me wonder more than the bite does.
Honestly the chokehold and them not doing anything about it bothers me more than the bite.
All I care about in a biting incident is whether or not DS was the instigator. I expect it's going to happen, toddlers are unpredictable, they move fast, and their moods change faster than you can flip a light switch. Our DC is required to call when there's an incident and we have to sign the incident report prior to leaving; but I'm of the mindset that if it doesn't involve the need to go to urgent care or hospital, leave me alone at work and talk to me when I pick up.
