When I flew with a baby, the noise conked him out. I wore him in the Ergo in the airport and during the flight but had to take him out for take off and landing. I'd ask for a crib/pack n play and use a drawer in the event that they did not have one.
At that age he will probably sleep most of the flight; at least my babies did. Definitely plan to nurse during take-off and landing.
You can bring you own travel crib or use one from the hotel. I have always used hotel cribs without issue. You will need to call the hotel and reserve one ahead of time, and if you'd prefer to use your own sheet, ask whether they provide cribs or pack 'n plays so you know which size to bring.

We travelled with DS at that age and he sleept through 2 flights, wakes up just as we are taxing to our gate and falls asleep before or during take-off. It was seriously the best time to travel with a newborn! You will be fine. I also second the Ergo or a carrier.
The white noise on a plane is awesome for babies - DS always took great naps on planes when he was 2 and under. Ditto the carrier suggestion for going through security and the airport.
