1) I have no idea at all. An entire closet full. We do go through most of them though before laundry and there's lots of different things we do that require different outfits.
2) 6 pair exactly. She just outgrew every pair we own. I bought her 3 and my mom bought her 3.

More than I need. He probably has 8 pjs and at least 2 weeks worth of outfits.
I was worse with his sister. She has a full closet and dresser, but I have things for all seasons and she's in her clothes longer. Plus I buy lots from selling walls and end up with extra clothes I would only use for play clothes.

A lot. 20+ pairs of pajamas. 15 or so pairs of pants (including leggings and jeans), 8 pairs of leg warmers. 9 dresses. Too many shirts to count. 4 or 5 tutu skirts. 12 pairs of shoes.
This is partially because we get hand me downs from her babysitter. I really don't shop that much, I swear.
I just did inventory on his next size up since I'm itching for him to get into them. I'm trying to get to a place where I can do laundry every other week. He has: 6 play outfits 8 pairs PJs (plus 4 unsized nightgowns) 4 sweaters 1 pair jeans 1 fleece jacket Various short sleeve and long sleeve onesies for layering
I need to get a few more pants to match up with the sweaters and a few more play sets.

Not much, lol. But she's growing so quickly I'm sure that will change!
PJs - 5 pair (but only two that she wears) Pants - 2 pair Dresses - 3 Rompers - 3 Onesies - 8 or 9 maybe? Some are long-sleeved, though, and probably won't get worn.
Both kids (4 yrs and 20 months) have about a weeks worth of clothing.
5 bottoms each and roughly 7-8 tops. DS1 wears a uniform to school and has 5 polo shirts, 2 sweatshirts and 3 trousers.
DS1 (4 yrs) has 2PJs but can wear a pair of sweatpants or long johns if neither is clean. DS2 has 2 PJs right now but needs at least 2 more.
We keep their wardrobes pretty small. Upside is they each only need two small drawers for clothing storage. Downside is that most stuff is threadbare by the time they grow out of it.
We had a ton in his last size and a ton in his next size, but not much right now and everything has patterns and doesn't go together! Pajamas, probably ten?

I don't have as many in this size but have a lot already in his next size. Weather however has been all over the place 40s and then 80 and he still a spitter due to reflux so we go through a lot. In his current size it's all play clothes no need for anything else. I'd say 8 pjs. Maybe 10 outfits.3 hoodies and 10 onsies
DS is 2.5. We just moved him into 4T for fall/winter, so I'm still filling out his wardrobe. Right now he has:
8-10 short sleeve T-shirts 4-5 long sleeve t-shirts 3 thermal tees 2 pairs cargo pants (probably need 3 more) 4 pair jeans
And a ton of PJs. He wears them for nap and bedtime and offer pees through his nighttime diaper, so we go through a lot. Probably 12-15 two-piece sets of Carter's snug fit PJs. A mix of short and long sets.
My kid dresses better than I do since I'm unwilling to spend $ on too many clothes before hitting my goal weight. Jeans & a target bf tee are pretty much all I wear.

too many! we are sort of in between seasons right now, so i still have his summer stuff out, but some days he needs warmer/fall weather clothes. in his current size we have:
PJs - 10 (1/2 fleece, 1/2 cotton) and 4 sleep sacks pants/jeans - 10 or 12 short sleeved shirts - 8 long sleeved shirts - probably 20, he hasn't worn many of them yet. i'll weed them down once i decide what i love when he starts wearing them. shorts - 7
then we have sweatshirts, bib overalls, shortalls, rompers, button up dress shirts, etc, etc...
She just grew out of NB size and we had about 8 sleep and plays and 2 onesie/pants sets, plus 3 kimono shirts. In 0-3 months we have 12 sleep and plays, a similar number of onesie/pants sets and 1 dress. No separate pajamas; she wears a plain onesie or shirt and diaper under her Swaddle Mes.
When we started wearing 9 month clothing, we began with 5 zippered sleepers. One was Koala Baby (BRU) brand which means DD outgrew it in two weeks but I stretched out her wearing a few more weeks. I swapped it for a football one I got at Target from the boy's aisle because otherwise there would be just too much pink. Then I bought skeleton pajamas from the Carter's sale and now I found a Pumpkin zippered sleeper today at Target. The pumpkin was also marked as Boys clothing but girls can be pumpkins too!
So we're at 7 sleepers.
As far as other clothes, I don't know. I gave up trying to count and just buy stuff I like and swap stuff when it gets too small. I also don't try to buy ahead because I have no idea what size she will be at the holidays and stuff.

My 5 month old has about 6 onesies, 2 rompers, two pairs of pants, baby leggings, and 3 pajamas. Laundry more than once a week here because daycare can't put his cloth diapers on correctly.
