I am irrationally excited about going to Costco this morning. Just window shopping there makes me happier than a trip to the mall. I think it's the extreme randomness of half their stock--you never know what you're going to find on the next aisle.

Oh lord. My white trash branch of the family tree is at it again. One girl posted on FB that her new husband is on drugs again and she needs our prayers. She's already changed her relationship status. I think this is her 3rd husband? Oh and she's 10 years younger than me.
This is the same person who works in order fulfillment at Amazon. Her job title on FB is listed as Stalk Technician.
We are selling our house and closing is suppose to be Tuesday but now there's an issue with the deed. Our buyers could walk and I am in the corner in a fetal position crying.
Also, what makes me furious is that 3-4 lenders and/or title companies have looked at this paper over the course of buying and refinancing and NOBODY had any problems with it except for this one company 7 years later.
My new obsession: coffee mate hazelnut. I refuse to look at the sugar content as I pour a gallon in my coffee.

Also, because the taco joint did not have coffee at 9:20am even though I paid for coffee, I got coupons for two free tacos. GUESS WHO'S HAVING TACOS FOR LUNCH ON FRIDAY???
I'm really pleased with the new name because I do actually eat tacos far more often than lasagna. TACOSFORLIFE!
We are heading to the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival.
I'm keeping my office door closed tomorrow. Feel sorry for my husband , y'all.
I'm curious. What kinds of things happen at this kind of festival?
I went to one in Japan. The garlic queen from Christopher ranch (the biggest in the us i think) was there. Yes, there was a beauty queen pageant at a garlic festival.
There were also games, like song how far you could spit a clove. And a garlic mascot ruining around.
And lots of food. Including yakiniku (they give you the grill and seasoned meat/veg and you cook it yourself).

I have pumpkin chili in the slow cooker and a chocolate cake in the oven. The cake is a "dump cake," made of instant chocolate pudding, chocolate cake mix, milk, and peanut butter chips.
I'm pretending it's fall because it's overcast even though it's apparently 82 outside. To celebrate, I'm watching football, drinking and ate mini corn dogs as well as pretzels/chips with dip.
I'm also drunk because I am a lightweight. I do recommend the cinnful Apple hard cider I bought today at the grocery. It's nice living in a state where I can at least buy some booze at the store on Sundays.
Two more weeks until the season premiere of TWD. Oh and two more weeks until Disney. I will let y'all guess as to which I am more excited about.
I just randomly googled a cousin of mine. I havent seen this guy since he was about 5. His mom (my aunt) left his dad and lost custody and has been estranged from her kids ever since.
His bio page for his college sports team lists his dads second wife as his mom.

My parents are here. Every single time, my dad manages to pull our patio door off the track. Not every time he visits, mind you. Every time he uses the door.

People wear garlic-themed clothing and sell garlic themed crap. I load up on Italian Red garlic every year. It's the tits. We ate garlic wings and roasted garlic man n cheese. And funnel cake (not garlic flavored) and lemonade (also not garlic flavored). Now we're going to the best BBQ in the HV. I'm gonna die,
Today is pie day. Chicken pot pie with butternut squash and apple pie. H told me yesterday that apple pie was "no big deal". He's been disinvited to the apple pie party.
"Not gonna lie; I kind of keep expecting you to post one day that you threw down on someone who clearly had no idea that today was NOT THEIR DAY." ~dontcallmeshirley

Can I have his invitation? Also how do I get on the pot pie list? Or a recipe I can sucker my H into making.
