OK, that's not really the headline, but watch your news story comment sections for this theme. From the NYT:
WASHINGTON — A man who jumped the White House fence this month made it far deeper into the president’s home than previously disclosed, overpowering a female Secret Service agent inside the North Portico entrance and running through the East Room before he was tackled, according to a congressional official familiar with the details of the incident.
The man, Omar J. Gonzalez, was finally stopped as he tried to enter the Green Room, the official said. Earlier, Secret Service officials had said Mr. Gonzalez, 42, had only made it steps inside the North Portico after running through the front door.
The new development, first reported by The Washington Post, will create an explosive hearing on Tuesday when a bipartisan panel of lawmakers intends to grill Julia Pierson, the director of the Secret Service, about whether a lax and undisciplined culture inside the long-heralded agency has badly eroded its ability to protect the president and his family, several members of Congress said Monday.
It is unheard of in recent decades for an intruder to make it in the White House, even a few steps inside one of the most secure buildings in the world. But the fact that Mr. Gonzalez was able to pass by the staircase in the Grand Foyer that leads to President Obama’s private quarters will stun Washington.
Ms. Pierson, who will be the sole witness to appear before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, will hear from lawmakers in both parties who said they will demand explanations for other breaches as well, including recent revelations about a slow and incomplete response by the Secret Service to a 2011 incident in which a man fired seven shots into the south side of the White House.
“Have there been some other serious breaches? Absolutely,” said Representative Jason Chaffetz, a Republican on the committee. He said the 2011 incident was “about as bungled as could possibly be,” but he said lawmakers on the committee have received numerous reports about security breaches that have not yet been made public.
“She’s got a lot to answer for,” he said. “I want to give her a chance. But I see this as a total lack of leadership and very questionable protocol.”
Representative Elijah Cummings, the senior Democrat on the committee, said he would insist that Ms. Pierson explain why Secret Service officials in charge of protection around the grounds of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue appear not to have listened to agents on the ground that night who believed shots had been fired at the White House.
This is the second time during the Obama presidency that an intruder was able to enter the White House. Male or female makes no difference - it was a screw up both times. Who ever is in charge - takes the blame/responsibility - it shows lack of leadership and competency. If it happens to be a woman - so be it - and no, that is not a "war on women" - it is a war on incompetency and lack of leadership.

He overpowered an agent? Male or female, that's very concerning. I don't think asking the director to explain how the hell this is possible is crazy. She's the boss, when things go wrong anywhere (for the most part) whomever is in charge is expected to speak to it.
"So you're try to pin this on Obama too?" Huh? where are you getting that? Leadership and competency of the SECRET SERVICE is what is being questioned here - and being blamed on "War on Women" . If you want to stretch things - you could blame Obama (which I am not) for appointing a woman and head of SS.
"Apparently Mrs Obama was livid about the incident where shots were fired at the White House because Sasha and her grandmother were in residence at the time." You would think after the first incident, there would have been a review and more attention to security. But twice??? That is nuts! Even more so with the terrorist threats that "We will be in the White House!" - no security upgrades? Really?

Trying to copy and paste an excerpt from an article on Boston dot com about the questioning. This is very troubling:
Calm but defensive in testimony before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Pierson disclosed that shortly before the intruder jumped the fence Sept. 19, at least two of her uniformed officers recognized him from an earlier troubling encounter but did not approach him or report his presence to superiors.
On Aug. 25, Army veteran Omar J. Gonzalez was stopped while carrying a small hatchet near the fence south of the White House, Pierson said. Weeks later, the same officers observed him ‘‘for some time’’ but never intervened. Gonzalez later went over the fence and broke inside the White House.

Soooo every single person who recognized, but didn't engage needs to be outta a job, like yesterday. As do their supervisors.
