I know! I really hope Lady Mary decides she's in love with this guy, because she's risking a lot. The previews for next week looked like things get pretty dramatic. My mom is convinced Bates isn't the one who killed the rapist. Sounds like we may find out soon.

Yes, I am very interested in whether Mary's gamble pays off or leaves her screwed; pun intended though I get the feeling Blake will not hold it against her if she changes her mind given his blunt and non-judgey talk with her.
I am also interested in what goes down with Marigold's adoptive mother, I want to like her because I believe she truly loves and cares for the baby but I am afraid the Adoptive Mother is going to make some bad choices out of fear that will mess things up for Edith.
The Mr. Bates storyline should be interesting, in an interview the actor said that some of the scripts shocked him when he got them. I am anticipating a switch where we expect it to be Mr. Bates but it turns out to be someone else.
ETA; did anyone else notice how casually Anna and Mrs. Hughes handled the photo? Anna took a minute but Mrs. Hughes did not seem surprised to me.
I really wanted to see more of Blake and Gillingham vying for Mary's love. I hate that it seems decided already.
I can see an ugly blow up between Mary and Edith if it ever comes out that Marigold (dislike the name, btw) is Edith's daughter and that Mary went off on this tryst with Gillingham.
I wish that Michael Gregson would be located. Although it's been such a long time, so I'm not hopeful.
Did anyone else think it was HILARIOUS with the whole wireless thing between Rose and Cousin Robert? With all the seriousness so far, it did make me laugh.

Yes, I thought the wireless back and forth was fun and a nice break from the drama without detracting from the story. It was a nice way of showing the advance of technology. I also thought the touch of Robert standing when the King spoke and the others following his lead was interesting.
