My chiro worked on my hips today and I feel the best I have in weeks. Wheee, this is good! I'm still taking my week off next week, but this is progress.

Mine is that I lifted to failure today. It felt so damn good. Now I'm sitting at my desk struggling to lift my sandwich to eat. This is going to hurt tomorrow, isn't it?

Pretty much, yeah. More so on Thursday.
My hip feels amazingly good today. Apparently rubbing it with some random handle did some good. Stupid IT band.
I'm done with my things at work for the month and have mentally checked out, so I'm screwing around on the internet.
And it's my anniversary. Props to my husband for texting me about it because I completely forgot.
Less random and more AW but I PR'd a strict press last week (65lbs up from 60). I also managed a 70lbs clean and press which isn't very much but it's hard to navigate the belly!

I slacked on going to the gym for almost 2 weeks. I went to a class this morning and ALMOST DIED. Seriously guys, I was dizzy and winded. It was so freaking embarrassing.
So my half marathon is this Sunday and I have a sore throat as of this afternoon:-[ Downing zinc and vitamin c and going to sleep. I am leading two tough meetings tomorrow and work is nuts right now. Ugh!!

I signed up for a runner's clinic where I will go through a 3 hour analysis to look at my gait, check my VO2 max, biomechanics screening and get a new shoe fitting - I'm nervous but I think I'm running differently because of my stress fracture and just want more info on how to train better.
I forgot to pack my gym shoes and sports bra last night... so... no strength workout. I was actually pretty upset. I made sure I checked my gym bag a million times after I packed it last night. I REFUSE to miss a run day!

I am alive and can now say I have run a 10K. I just barely did not make it under an hour (damn the three stop lights and a change from music to podcast halfway through), but I did it! My knees are a little sore but I'm otherwise fine.
