My 4 are Donna (after doctor who companion Donna Noble), Gizmo, Luna, and Yoshi (foster fail kitten!)
You kept little Yoshi?! I luff him!
Yep We had to remove his bad eye completely and now he has a little patch of white fur on that side of his face. He's only 5 months old, I can't believe how big he is already

We used to do this at the SPCA. We'd come up with theme days with the Director of Behavior, and all the dogs that got behavior-tested on the same day would be renamed with something from that theme. We had breakfast cereal day (Trix, Count Chocula, etc.), Chinese Food Day (Wonton, Chopsticks, etc.), Ancient Mesopotamia Day (Gilgamesh, Hammurabi, Xerxes, etc.).
I left around the same time that the Director of Behavior did, and I don't think the new Behavior Director kept up with it.
We have named our cats after the Sharks players (ice hockey) Raffi Torres (gray tabby) and Patrick Marleau (orange tabby) and you get to see my wonderful husband act like a goofball in these pics. You are welcome. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted
My cat's name is Tucker. We had another cat for about a week, but Tucker tried to kill it. Like, he had explosive poop all over the poor kitty's food all the time so it couldn't eat and when we tried to separate them he peed and pooped all over the entire house.
That cat was supposed to be named Ellie Sattler. CURSE YOU, TUCKER.
DH and I had to put down his old cat a couple of weeks ago. DH isn't the emotionally strongest person, so I did the dirty work. He said that he didn't want to get another cat because it's hard when it's time to let them go. But now, he's all giddy because he's come up with what he thinks is an awesome name, and he wants to name a new cat. I told him that I was OK as long as I got to choose the new cat. Unfortunately, he decided that he doesn't want to get a new cat after all, even though I'm convinced that our remaining cat is lonely.
I'll take Provolone! I love black kitties. Once I found out that black cats are far less likely than any other cat to be adopted, I made a promise that I will only adopt black kitties.
I've adopted two so far, plus a tuxedo.
Binks was named after the cat in Hocus Pocus but to me he was always "The Dude."
Misty was named Mitzi by a prior owner but XH has a cat named Mitzi so DD1, who was the one who got her for us, changed it to Misty so it was "less awkward" but around here, since Misty isn't exactly "black cat" she goes by Pookie or Pookums. Or Idiot Cat on occasion, of course.

We have one all black (Max) and a black and white who looks like a Rorschach image (Kinky.)
(My daughter thought he'd look better in a tutu. He's a very patient kitty.)

Omg. I was so in love with Patrick Markeau. I feel like an orange cat should be Joe Thornton though.
I had a cat named Eleanor Roosevelt the Women's Activist Cat.
I wanted Joe Thornton too but at the time he adopted us, Patty was was the C of the Sharks. The next cat we get will be Joe or Tomas :-)
