Also, DH bought a bag of romaine lettuce a week ago and I had yet to wash it for use. Well this morning i opened the fridge and found a mess!! I assumed a drink had somehow spilled since I looked like coke only it was liquified lettuce. Ew!!!
Gooood morning! We actually had to wake Owen up at 8:30 this morning. Yay.
I'm trying to decide if I want to drive in the 35 minutes to go to lunch with work people today. Not really, because that's nap time, but it's mostly people I like, and it would be free lunch, but then I have to get in the shower now-ish.
Well last night was too good to be true (a only waking up once and Brady slept until 7) bc Brady took off his diaper at some point (it was dry) and put it in the window sill by his bed and so he peed all over his mattress
Sometimes I pat myself on the back for doing "grown up things" like calling the tree pruner. Then I remember, I am a grown up and this isn't a particularly great accomplishment, lol

We Bumped Lou up to another day of school. Hes in a new classroom and his new teacher told me that he is talking a lot, right up there with the other kids. Also, he wasn't interacting with the other kids too much, but now he is in the middle of all the action. I wanted to hug her, but well we jut met, so i played it cool.
I find out the sex of the baby next saturday!!!! lol at me being Team Green.
My head is pounding, and i forgot what its like to feel normal.
ETA: But more positive stuff, its also October. The best month of the year. Fall, Halloween, my anniversary.
musiclover, does he need someone in the hospital with him? If there's local family that can help then, I'd think it would be most helpful to go for a few days after he is released.

I'm laughing at my bump pic today. I feel so much bigger than I look. I physically feel about 35 weeks pregnant today. Wtf. She must be growing because I am so crampy and full feeling. It feels like my stomach muscles are no longer functional.
Grr. DH just sent me the schedule for the next several weeks and he's scheduled himself to work until 6 (which is more like 6ish) on trick or treat night. I was all excited because he was finally going to get to come (he's only been able to come once ever), he's finally working days and he scheduled himself to work a late shift because he forgot someone had the day off that day.
I know it's not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, but it's frustrating. When I asked him about it, he said "I should get out at 6 and be able to come for part of it, or maybe I can come home and then work from home."
Right. Because he's always able to get out on time.
ciescalove I didn't have any heartburn at all last time, but I've been taking Zantac 75 twice a day for about the last week now. I can tell when I miss taking a Zantac, it's awful.
If you get tired of the taste of tums I discovered alka seltzer antacid fruit chews. They're much more pleasant than the chalky tums tablets.
So pretty much nothing but good news!! Her MRI showed a pretty big improvement from the initial scan. I took a picture of both of the scans. The first picture is from August the next is from today. They did a neck x-Ray and and ligament damage looks better so her neck brace is coming off today, which is huge! That thing drives her insane. The neurosurgeon said if she continues to do well in we will talk about getting her in to do the surgery to reattach her skull. She seemed pretty confident that Emerson will be able to have that surgery around the end of November. So our next appointment is November 17th.
Do you do the liquid? I know there are dissolvable tabs, but they say for 6+. I have to admit, I hate cleaning syringes! I think Edie can drink out of the little cup now, but I'm not sure about Adeline. Especially if she hates the taste.
Our pedi prefers Zyrtec too. I'm not sure why. I, myself, take Claritin because it's cheaper.
E takes 1 tsp of Zyrtec every night from the little cup. He doesn't seem to mind the taste and does great taking the medicine without spilling it.
DD is a major grump this morning. Probably from waking up at 5:20am. I think I'm going to have to cancel our play date later because her misery apparently knows no bounds.
That was C yesterday. He slept from 12-7 with a few wake ups and was a massive grump. He refused to nap and then bit a teacher. Not good, kiddo.
He passed out at 6:30pm and slept until 8:00am (woke up briefly for milk twice), which is the most he's ever slept in a night - or really in a 24 hour period. He was so happy and fun this morning! I hope your DD returns to normal soon.
We had the home inspection yesterday and it went great! We are officially moving. I am so excited and nervous! I have got to start packing and don't even know where to begin.
