Obnoxious ::gavel:: She is going to have a long 2+ months ahead of her...
My FB annoyance this morning was with a post in a breastfeeding group that I am a part of. This one woman was "devastated" because her mother gave her EBF baby solid food. The baby is 10 months old and the mother gave her Cheerios. I can totally get being annoyed about your caretaker not obeying your instructions for your kid, but seriously? "Devastated" about Cheerios for a 10-month-old?
Obnoxious for sure. And early for all that jazz. However, I feel like she might just be having a bad pregnancy day and venting. More people need to check their vents before they right it out.
I have carefully curated my FB..lol. My SIL signed hers over to her H. She claims she's a much happier person without it and only checks in occasionally because she has to ask for the password. So there is some truth to that. Somedays I want to do the same, but then I just sign out for awhile and all is well.

I tend to think people who over share this much on FB are lonely. Is she a SAHM? I have SAHM friends on FB who post like this but I get the sense that it's their only connection to grown ups during the day. Not too different than how I treat this place!
A FB acquaintance of mine posted this link on FB with "This is why I don't send my kids to daycare! I'd rather be poor."
Then, this morning, she and someone else are in an argument about whether her daughter's sore throat is caused by her going out in the cold without a jacket...or her exposure to second-hand smoke. Via the anti-daycare mom, who smokes like a chimney around her kids, apparently.
I was surprised to see she's not a first-time mom. She really should know better - she sounds like such an excited newb. Also, taking EPO "both ways" is not a necessary FB update.

I can think of many posts similar to this one on this very board. But i think the babies were usually much younger, 4-5 months.
The 10 months thing is a little weird, most babies should have had some solids by then. At that point its' probably that they didn't get to have that "first"

True And I can totally understand it for a younger kid. Or, you know, if it was gummi bears instead of Cheerios. I just don't understand why you wouldn't want a 10-month-old to have any solids.
I hid a FB friend because she posted weekly bump pics with a million hashtags, e.g., #36weeks #sizeofapineapple #soblessed #thiskidsakicker. I don't know if I had pregnancy rage or what, but it drove me nuts.
