Hailey Piper

We had it down to a few and I wasn't loving any really. Sophia, halle, mara, leslie. Dd is 4 and emotional and cried when we didn't have a name so we told her we would call her after school the day after she was born. We really didn't know what we would say when mil called with her on the phone, so I just grabbed it and said hailey. She then, of course balled bc it wasn't elsa and made us feel terrible. Mil called back and said she is fine now and calling her hailey already. In the end we were so undecided and I was sick of the decision, any name would become her and why should we both settle? So I let him have it. I'm at peace with it and she's damn cute regardless. He is suprised and happy but afraid I'll hold this over his head forever haha.

Birth...
So much easier the second time around.
Induction
8am arrived
9 waters broke by Dr
Started waking around the halls, not feeling mucH.
Noon got some pitocin, walked more, contractions picked up
330 got the epi
6PM started pushing
626 she was born after about 6 contractions

Recovery is going Well, 2nd degree tear. We were shocked she was so big, 8lbs 15oz. She is bfing like a champ and I'm trying to get into the swing of things and remember how to do everything. Still haven't seen dd, she is having a blast with mil. We get discharged tomorrow and will pick her up from school and they will get to meet
