I had such a low key but wonderful night last night that sent me to bed feeling so happy and thankful. DH and I picked up DS for a picnic and playing at the park, followed by a great bath for the little guy and lots of books and songs. I didn't think this would be my life a few years ago but am so thankful for how happy we seem to make each other.
I am also thankful for another uneventful pregnancy. At 37 weeks pg I am still teaching 4 classes a week (cycle and TRX) and happy to continue as long as I'm a good teacher.
And I'm thankful I get to read about so many of you running....its just not happening for me anymore and won't for awhile but I get excited about my return when I get to read about your fall racing.
I will be starting a new position on October 13 that is more in line with my long-term career goals. It's an internal promotion and I'm so excited and extremely grateful that a position opened up and that I was chosen for it.

I am thankful that my H has a job prospect on the horizon that seems to really respect work/life balance (like, really). I feel like we may be getting our lives back. He started his current job 7 years ago (the week after our first child was born) and has been working like a lunatic ever since. I am very excited about what this could mean for our family.
I'm thankful for fuzzy socks. My feet are freezing today.
I'm thankful for my H. He's pretty awesome.
I'm thankful for my own treadmill, because I do not want to walk outside today. Its snowing.
I am thankful I don't live where you live. I am not ready for snow!
I am thankful for H and how supportive he is of my running goals. He is prepping the meat for our chili tonight so that I can get in my 6 miler before the sun goes down/before my boys play (Go, Pack, Go!)

Its ok, lots of people are thinking this right now too!
I am so thankful for yoga and stretching- my hips and hammies feel like new today even after just a 10 minute post-run session. I'm thankful for the delicious sub I am eating for lunch right now, but confused why my runger is out of control when it's super-low/pre-race mileage this week. Oh well.

I am thankful for a good swim race rehearsal this morning. It has given me another boost of confidence and I am starting to believe that I really can do ironman and will finish in less than 17 hours.
I am thankful for my husband for putting up with me for the last 16 weeks. I know it hasn't been easy and I appreciate his support.
I'm thankful for life. It's been a weird week and I've been oddly happy...I kinda like it.
I'm thankful for good friends, like the one that showed up at my house with power tools last night -- one more trip to Home Depot and I'll have a closet where I can actually hang clothes...that was ONLY 2 months in the works!
I'm thankful for like-minded coworkers who don't hate my sarcasm and pick up on my cheek biting during stupid meetings.
I'm thankful to be happy, even if it feels weird. I'm also terrified that this happy with come crashing down around me. :/

I'm thankful for my chiro appointment tonight and that I'm last appointment of the day. He has his work cut out for him!
I'm also thankful that my mother in law has been taking the lead on her own life changes so we haven't had to force anything. She chose to no renew her license in May (she's 83). Last week she found an assisted living center that she toured on Monday. We are moving her in this weekend.

I am thankful that I leave on vacation tomorrow morning! Yaaay vacation!
I am thankful for the opportunity for DH that has presented itself next week. Even if it doesn't work out, it is tremendous for his confidence, and it it does work out, it's just fantastic!
I am very thankful that my shin seems to be pretty close to 100%, and for my chiro that helped me get it there.
I'm thankful for the Wendy's I had for lunch today. I'm thankful for my sister's so far uneventful pregnancy, and the fact that she is willing to indulge my desire to see bump pics on a weekly basis (she lives 2 hours away) I'm thankful my parents had a safe flight to visit my sister in Tallahassee, even if that means they will be coming home with a crapton of Florida State stuff for AJ
I'm thankful to work in an area that really values public education. After hearing so many horror stories from all over the place about how school boards are trying to f things up (Jefferson county comes to mind), it's awesome to be in a district that supports us (except for our ridiculous HR department, but that's another matter).
I am thankful for DH. He is supportive and just my rock. We had such a great weekend away and reminds me how lucky we both are!
I am thankful for the weekend! To be able to getaway (again!), have fun with SIL, possibly meet up with some ladies here, and conquer the half. I am not worrying about time but enjoying the moment and pushing my body.
I am thankful for my family. I am really blessed for them.
