I also feel bad for Joe and Teresa. Yes they did something horrible and definitely deserve to pay for their crimes but I couldn't imagine my family being torn like this.
Right? There's a difference between wanting justice to be served vs. publicly taunting someone at their darkest hour. I hope karma catches up with that bitch.
sorry just getting caught up. so will this 15 mos really turn out to be just 5 mos real jail, out on 'good enough' behavior and then 5 mos ankle bracelet and forgive the other 5?
US Weekly reporting she will surrender Jan 5th after spending the holidays with her family. I don't think I could enjoy that time knowing what's around the corner.
Also Kim G (people who watch the show will know her) it tweeting some horrible things now. What a cu**.
No way. I'm an old. I don't do the twitter or the tumblr.
Yeah. H imposed a household goal (we're obvs childless) for me to join Twitter before the end of the month. He's trying to keep me hip, but I say- I'm kinda active on GBCN!! Ha.
I am glad that Threasa has to serve her sentence first because she will not be able to do RHNJ,, by the time she gets out no body will care about her
Oh no. They'll care.
She'll spend probably a year in jail and jump right into filming. Bravo won't let her go. She makes them bank.
A years not very long. Look how excited everyone is about Bethany coming back to hWofNY! And she's been out for years.
Shit!!! I had no idea Bethany was coming back. Thank God for that.
Also, I don't think it's weird that a judge would give two parents consecutive sentences and I don't think it happened in this case because they are famous. Granted, I have had limited criminal court dealings, but from what I have seen the courts and judges really do seem to care for the families as a whole, especially when there are children, and will always look to do what they feel is best for the kids while also having a fair outcome in the criminal case.
I think house arrest would have been adequate, but I can see how they made that a tough choice for the judge.
I'd rather start my sentence today and have 2 months completed by January 5th. I would kind of hate to drag it out. But she's got 4 kids so I see how she wants to prepare them.
Wow, they are replaying season one on Bravo tomorrow morning. They aren't wasting any time. It will be interesting to see how different she was back then.
Lucy Honeychurch thinks that the criminal justice system should discriminate based on parental status. Lucy, don't you work at a law firm? What is wrong with you, lady?
I read everything you said. You think that because Theresa has children, her sentencing should be different than if she did not. That is discrimination based on parental status.
Or, do you not think that people who commit fraud like Theresa did should be sentenced to prison ever? Always give them house arrest? I didn't see you say that.
