Ok, so I committed to the color... but it is a bit brighter than I had hoped (this is just a paint shop default color but not too far off from the Jamaica Bay by SW that I used). SO I am going more subdued in the rest of the palate in the room to bring it down some. We have the dressers, a rocking chair (sans cushion). What do you think of the curtains? Or do I go plain white (and sew yellow pompom trim onto it?? There is only one window in the room.
So what sayeth H&G. ETA, this is for our boy/girl twins
That's really cute. DS room is pretty much the same color and I also went dark but with black because his floor has a lot of gray/black in it so I vote keep it all dark.

I'm not loving the curtain. I think maybe just a solid light grey or something might work better? The pattern/size of the zigzag stripes seems too close to the floor for me.
I like the dark curtain. It is a nice counterbalance for the brightness of the wall color.
Fun wall color...a bit brighter than the color we had for the guest room at our old house, but pretty close. I loved going into or just passing that room, because the color was both happy and relaxing.

And this is kind of random...but would you ever consider painting the ceiling a lighter shade of the wall color? I think that would look great, and soften the wall color a bit.
I think white curtains with yellow pom poms would look the best but I gravitate toward bright/light things.
I would stick with neutral colors for the big pieces like a light gray for the chair cushions. And then pick a few accent colors from the carpet tiles. A bright yellow, pink, and green maybe since the room will be for both a boy and girl. I think a brighter yellow would look better than the muted yellow lamp you have shown currently. I'm planning to order this fun lamp in yellow but it also comes in lots of other bright colors:
I'm not loving the art. I think it's too much blue or not the right color or something. A pair of prints that are different but related would be cute over each crib. Etsy has lots of options to pick from.
Are you using the dresser as a changing table? I'd add some shelving somewhere (either wall or bookcase) so you can display things but still keep them out of reach. Some white wall shelves would look nice against that wall color and everything doesn't have to be a dark wood in the room. Then add an ottoman or pouf and some fun colored floor baskets/bins for storage. What are you thinking for crib bedding?
i'd choose a white with trim for the curtain, nothing patterned. if you go with grey, i'd lean towards a really warm grey so it doesn't clash with the warm walls and carpet.
