Interesting, I didn't know before that there was a separate disorder from OCD (OCPD).
Explains a lot. At first I was just thinking "crazy" in terms of wackadoo people, but as I got further along, it became a little uncomfortable. But the absolute adherence to ideals as overriding empathy for someone who just found out their loved one has died, was the clincher to go figure out exactly what the issue likely is.
