Anyone excited about Halloween in NE?

I'm really hoping we get to go to do this this year.  We haven't gotten for the past couple of years because it's a long drive, but it's soooo scary.  

Anyone going or participating in any haunted houses or Witch's Woods?

I will probably go the jack o lantern thing at the Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence.

I'm kind of over the rest of Halloween after 5 years in Salem. It's like I'm emotionally scarred.

Omg i don't blame you. Salem in Oct is enough to cure people for life of Hollween lol. I used to work over at the complex on Congress. I'd leave work an hr early during Oct so i could get home at a reasonable time.

My hubs doesn't like to hand out candy, because he has to run up and down the stairs and up until last year we didn't have any kids, so handing out candy wasn't a interest to us. Since low will be 22 months this year I'm going to take her out with a friend. I'm hoping he's changed his mind will hand out candy, but there's no guarantee. LOL Plus I think we are like you and only get a few kids. Parents tend to take their lo's to fire station and police station where they hand out candy and have a kids haunted house. At least in my neighborhood.

I usually run out of candy in my neighborhood. We bought 3 big bags last year and had some crappy candy leftover and that was it. We are in one of the only neighborhood-y areas in my town so we get a lot of people that come just to hit up 40 houses quickly. It's kind of a PITA because of my dog, since he just barks the entire night and one of us has to sit downstairs with him while kids ring the doorbell. The last 2 years have been crappy weather, hopefully this year is nicer since I'll just sit outside with candy and a beer if that's the case. I think if I'm outside it won't be as bad.

I have done the ghoullog and it was pretty cool!

Never done Salem for Halloween. And I did 3 years of Grad school there.
