LIP: What are your thoughts on this necklace?

I really want a statement necklace (no, not a bubble), but like how this is more chunky than what I normally wear/own, and I like the yellow color.

Do you think it'll go well with a lot of outfits?

I don't love it. I don't hate it either. I just don't find it that much if a statement necklace either.

I'm not totally feeling it. It has an 80's vibe to it that seems off. I think it's the links above the yellow pieces. I think styling it for dressier outfits may be difficult. Check out the Amrita Singh sales on Hautelook right now and Rue later today. Her stuff is nice statement pieces that can be dressed up or down pretty easily. They are typically resin, but a nicer quality than a lot of costume pieces. She sticks with resin to make pieces that have impact, but keep them from weighing a ton. She also plates in 18k gold and does a lot of toggle clasps making pieces appear richer. The return policies aren't ideal on those sites, but I think there may be something better. If you don't typically do bold accessories, you may also want to check out a department store to try pieces to find something that really suits you.
