Acupuncture question (cramping and bleeding)

Hello all! It's been awhile since I've posted over here, I have been mostly on TTTC, but was hoping to get some wider input.

I had acupuncture yesterday (second session). Last night and today I've had a lot of cramping, and then I had some spotting. I'm currently 6DPO. It really feels like impending TOM, not at all what I'd imagine with implantation. I'm wondering if anyone else had acupuncture that resulted in a shorter than normal LP or just short-term cramping and spotting. Thanks!

I don't want to give you false hope but both times I got pregnant (once ending in a m/c) I swore for almost a week that I was getting AF because of the cramping, which obviously never came. I didn't have the spotting/bleeding though - only the AF-like cramping. I will be interested in reading an update from you in maybe 8 days perhaps? Good luck and hope the acupuncture helps!

I know everyone has a different experience. But acupuncture seemed to regulate my cycles very well.

I was going to say the same thing. No experience with acu, but I had that kind of cramping and I also had bleeding at 7dpo. I was completely convinced I was about to get my period.

Thanks girls! It feels SO much like TOM I have a hard time thinking it's implantation-related but your experience is interesting for sure!

boiler717 I only did acupuncture for 2 cycles but I didn't have any cramping or spotting so hopefully that's a good sign for you. I always get spotting a week before AF so any I did have was normal. How are you liking the accu? I didn't at all-hence the stopping after 2 months.i just couldn't relax and it was painful :/

And side note your house is gorgeous. I love looking at the pics on h&g My house is very similar to yours and you give me some great ideas.

I really like it, and I did not expect to at all. I'm a pharmacist, so it's pretty far out of my comfort zone. It's very relaxing, after my first session I slept so well for days! I am pretty sure it's what got me to O as well this cycle. I never have midcycle spotting so I hope it's good news! Cramps went away late morning so I don't think TOM is arriving anymore.

A blogger that I have read did acupuncture for her IF issues. It caused her to have bleeding afterwards, however she ended up being pregnant. Don't want to give false hope, but I believe acupuncture may have that effect.

Update: I think it must have been from the acupuncture because not only was it not implantation bleeding, I am actually anovulatory this cycle :/
