Hi, I've lurked on other boards for awhile but am new to this board. I have a son who will be two next month and we decided this past June to start trying again. We conceived my son pretty quick, two months with no help except for checking my period tracker app for ovulation days.
This time hasn't been so easy, I had a uti for awhile and then a very abnormal 17 day stretch of bleeding which my ob couldn't really find a reason for. She said I probably didn't ovulate that month.
So For the first time, I have started using the ovulation kits to test my ovulation.
They started darkening about five days ago and all the ones since then have looked positive to me.
I am wondering if it's normal to have a positive test 5 days in a row or if it even is a positive? They look positive to me but like I said, I'm very new to this whole thing.
Im attaching a picture of the tests so you can get an idea of what they're showing.
Welcome! I'm no expert with Wondfo's but I would say that you are coming up on a positive soon. Your surge is pretty extended looking, but it is supposed to be as dark as the sample. However, I have gone multiple months without any indication of an LH surge since mine apparently only lasts for half a day or some shit.
that last one looks about like what my positives look like. usually i'll get 2 of those, then the line either gets much lighter or goes away.
you also might drive yourself a little crazy testing 3 times a day.
and if you want to actually know if you've ovulated, you'll need to temp too. the tests only confirm your hormone surge, NOT that you actually O'd.
ha no, I'm definitely not testing three times a day! I test once a day these are all the test I've taken this cycle. My last period started sept 13 and I started testing about a week later.

I agree those don't look quite positive yet. One suggestion that worked for me, I would use the cheapy strips leading up to O, and then when I thought it was positive but couldn't be totally sure, I would switch to the CBE digital monitor. All you have to know is if there's a smiley face or not, none of the staring at the line and wondering. They're more expensive but lasted a while since I was only using maybe 2 of them per cycle.
