If you could spend NYE in Europe, which city?

I listed some of the cheaper cities we could fly into, but we need to be in Paris on the 3rd.

Paris is my favorite, but if you're headed there later anyway, I'd do London or Amsterdam for NYE.

I would NOT do Frankfurt.

I spent NYE in Florence a few years ago and it was awesome. It's a bit far from Paris though I guess.

We spent NYE in Paris in 2006/07. It was a great place to celebrate! We had wine and champagne under the Eiffel Tower, along with a picnic dinner. So fun!

That looks fabulous! Was it super cold? I've been to Paris in late January and it was chilly, but not super cold.

This sounds amazing but it looks like prices to get there would be terrible. And we'd have to fly in New Year's Eve, so travel there would mean we'd make it rigggghht around midnight.

It wasn't freezing. We were definitely bundled up, but I think it was in the 40s. We were pretty much always filled with wine, so that helped to keep us warm also!

I love LOVE Edinburgh but we can't get a direct flight in. I'll ask DH if he thinks it is worth the extra cost to get a ticket from London.
