Just music, usually hard rock, techno, or hip hop for the constant beats. Of course I am usually watching a DVD when I work out so music is my only choice for alternative. That's one reason I like being at home, don't have to worry about using earbuds and can pump up the volume to however loud I want without distracting others.
I usually am always in a group setting, so whatever playlist I have designed for my class, or whatever the instructor has in mind for us. I am pretty flexible with my workout music.

I have a smart playlist of workout songs that I use a lot. I also listen to a lot of podcasts (This American Life, Risk, The Moth, Stuff Mom Never Told You, Stuff You Missed in History Class).
