That book is a huge sobfest. The movie too. DH and I bawl our way through it every time.
I'm reading the Witches of East End series right now. It's okay.
I have no suggestions for kids though.

I read pretty much all middle school/young adult books. I just finished Winger which is more for high schoolers/adults. It was hysterical for most of it. I am in the middle of Alienated (written by a nestie) and We Were Liars.
