Had some cramping yesterday afternoon and last night, so I'm going to the doc at noon. It was abnormal because it was in my low back, came a few times an hour and lasted 15-30 seconds. Duckling is fine and moving around as per normal (which is to say, sporadically), but I'm terrified this is preterm labor or something. Plus I'm doing my GTT this morning (1h). Could use some positive thoughts sent my way. Thanks
Had an interesting OB appointment yesterday, it actually looks like twin A may have flipped in the last week to head down. When my OB checked her heart rate, she ended up finding it about 6 inches lower then it usually is, which makes her think the baby may have flipped. We won't know for sure until the U/S next week, but I was shocked as baby A has been breech the entire time so I had really just accepted the fact that I would be having them via c/s. I'm definitely hoping if she did flip, that she stays that way as I would love to be able to try for a vaginal delivery. Crazy to think she may have flipped in the last week or so and I didn't notice, and that there is still space in there for a baby to flip!
Good luck @sessalee! And hoping that Baby A has flipped for you vtdiamond!
I am having a pity party of one this morning. Day 4 with what I believe it bronchitis. My OB referred me back to my primary, and today is the first day they are able to see me. My shower is this weekend, and I really hope I feel better by then because right now, I am pretty miserable.

vtdiamond, that is great news! I hope baby A is head down!! Mine has been for all of my u/s so far, and I am worried she will do the opposite and turn breach by the time delivery rolls around.
My random is that I have a headache, I am so tired of this quickly fluctuating weather. it never fails, a fast moving front comes in and I am miserable! Also, I am going to see a taping of the NPR radio show Wait Wait Don't Tell Me tonight with a work friend. Hopefully I am not too uncomfortable in the theater seat...
1) Baby is starting to stretch out and enjoys squishing my stomach. I've got a big fancy dinner planned this Saturday and he better not squish it then because mama wants to eat.
2) Had an ultrasound this week. Kid is a beast. He's measuring 3 weeks ahead. My doctor told me I should be happy I'm not planning to push him out (planned c). haha
Good luck with the GTT today Sessalee! And I hope that Baby A flipped and wants to be head down for the rest of the time
We are going to an Infant CPR class tonight at the hospital, so I'm looking forward to that. I have been exhausted this week though since I've only been getting about 6 hours of sleep, and I've had something going on every night this week so far...definitely looking forward to the weekend
I'm also still having a hard time believing that I'm almost 36 weeks already! Where has the time gone?
Bonita I know - I'm a day behind you. I guess next week I wash baby clothes and put the ARC together. Prepped some newborn cloth diapers yesterday.. so tiny and cute!!
Had a growth ultrasound this afternoon and for some reason I didn't want to look at the baby. Too worried I would see the bits and find out what we're having. Baby is head down and measuring just under 6 lbs so looking good. Should have my GBS result Monday which will determine if we're going for a home birth or not.
Thank you all so much! Everything appears to be fine, cervix is 'long' and there was no trace of fluid (they have to look under a scope but she visually saw nothing). Baby is also now head down, which is good news. She thinks it's dehydration and some gas, but to keep an eye on it.

went to my 4 month appointment today and got to hear the heartbeat yay. after previous miscarriage, i'm always paranoid about these things. I get to find out the gender on November 7th!!
Yesterday was a very productive day! I went to Walmart on the way home and picked up the closet organizer for the nursery and baby laundry detergent (along with all the canned goods for my freezer meals). I came home and washed 4 loads of laundry! Everything is folded and put away, the crib is all put together (skirt, sheet, quilt, crib bumper), and DH put the nightstand together last night so C's books and lamp are all organized/setup!
I'm starting to feel ready! Now I just need to do birth class (Sat), make freezer meals (next Fri/Sat), install the car seat bases (3 weeks from now), and buy a few more things from BRU when we get our completion discount! I also have a breastfeeding class scheduled for Nov 18th. The countdown is on...only 4 more weeks of work and then I'm on ML followed by SAHM!!!
I just got back from my doctor's appointment. All of the contractions I've been having have done pretty much nothing. I'm 50% effaced, but high and closed. Fun! Grr! I did end up getting my flu and tdap shots so that was productive, I guess. I'm going to start visualizing opening flowers to try and encourage my cervix to open up. Heh.
We have similarly great news. We just got back from our u/s and found that our breech baby has flipped!! For 35 weeks she had been breech for every u/s and dr appt. In a last ditch attempt we tried a bunch of things from spinningbabies.com and other old wives tales figuring why not if it could avoid a version or c/s. DH is joking that it was him talking to the bottom of my belly (while I was on a backward incline and had frozen peas on the top of my belly) that did it.
Oh and we also confirmed it's still a girl. So good news all around.

It's my Friday! Four day weekend coming up (My boss is encouraging me to use all my vacation time pre-baby since I'll just lose it if I don't use it before maternity leave)
And I'm annoyed at work today as I was asked a question for which I'm considered an expert in my company on via email yesterday. I responded, and since it wasn't the response this person wanted, they've since re-sent me the email, as well as call on the phone and send two other people into my office to ask the SAME THING. I'm sorry it wasn't the answer you wanted, but asking the same question several times isn't going to change my answer.
Unrelated Random: I'm trying really hard to stay away from the Urban Decay 20% off sale. I REALLY want Naked 3, but I have Naked 2 and love it, but don't really need another nude pallet. But it's so pretty!

Pregnancy insomnia is torture. I'm so tired. For the past three nights I haven't been able to fall asleep before 3am. DS wakes me up around 7am.
And DH has another bug of some sort. I swear if he gets me sick again he's gonna get the pregnant lady wrath upon his head. For someone who works from home and is basically a hermit, he knows how to pick up some fun germs.

@sessalee such good news! vtdiamond I will be praying the baby stays head down.
My random is that I am completely over this work week. Really glad today is my Friday. I'm a cpa in a small public accounting firm and this week was the personal extension deadline. So having that behind us is great but I'm to the point where I don't want to deal with another person for a while.
Our anatomy scan is tomorrow and I am so excited! Can't wait to find out what this baby is and pick a name. Also will probably start our registry and I can start picking nursery fabric!
